Sturdy
Just what I needed to stir sourdough starter, nice and sturdy, easy to clean, I like the length of it - most are 11" but the 13" I feel is better for stirring the deep jars I use.

I use these for stirring my sourdough starter. They have good length for reaching the bottom of a tall mason jar, they scrape the bottom and sides of the jar fairly easily, they are good quality, thick, and they are comfortable and easy to hold. They initially look quite long, but like I said, it makes it easy to scrape the bottom of the jar.
Excellent sturdy product for a great price. These come without a finish, which is what I want. I oil them regularly, and have been using them daily for the last 6 months with no problems.
I use this specifically for my sourdough starter and bread-making, and it’s been fantastic. The design looks great in my kitchen, and it’s super functional—it scrapes the sides of the bowl perfectly, getting every last bit without making a mess. It’s very sturdy, which I appreciate for handling thick doughs. I absolutely love the width; it’s narrow enough to fit comfortably in my hand. Overall, it’s a quality tool that’s become essential in my baking routine.
This item is invaluable to my sourdough stirring process. I keep a large jar of sourdough starter at the ready for cooking various items with and I never have anything long enough to reach the bottom of the jar to stir the contents completely, this answered that problem. I love that it's wood and is really beautiful.
Love this and use it all the time
Used one of these to stir my sourdough starter. The first time I washed it, I got small and large splinters sticking up from the wood. Either it wasn't sanded enough, or its substandard wood. Hand washed it, since we don't have a dishwasher. Definitely not good quality.
