This was a really great purchase! I also purchased three others in the round shape. It definitely helped make my party a success without having to worry about keeping foods cold. I definitely would order again.
These do an good job of keeping the Deli meat and slice cheeses cool while it sits out for gatherings. I prefer keeping the ice topped out in the bottoms so the trays rest even more on ice.
This is a beautiful two-piece tray set made of very heavy-duty, durable materials—a stainless steel top and a tough, bubble-design plastic base. The deep base holds a good amount of ice, and the top metal tray keeps appetizers like shrimp, fruit, or veggies perfectly chilled for a few hours. The quality is excellent, and for the price point (under $30), the value is good.However, there are a couple of functional drawbacks: first, the base is not double-walled, so the ice melts faster and the plastic will definitely sweat, which limits where you can safely place the tray. Second, the metal serving tray just sits loosely on top of the base; it does not snap or fasten for secure storage or transport.While the materials are great and the chilling function works, I would prefer an insulated, sweat-free design and a securable top. Due to these limitations, I am giving it four stars.
