I love my gold strainers!! They go with the theme of my apartment. The quality is good, just be a little careful with the use because the strainer is not HARD metal. I do find them a bit expensive, I would expect this price for a 4 piece. It is easy to clean, but make sure to be extra thorough when cleaning remnants of rice!
I have been using these gold colored colanders for several months now. No evidence of rusting or any other wear, for that matter.nInitially, I was afraid they would be too lightweight for everyday use, but it turns out they are quite sturdy and durable. I was afraid bit skeptical of the quality of the spot welds on the base and handles of these colanders - but they have held up well. They nest together so the take up very little cabinet space.While there has been some minor oxidation, the color hasn’t changed with use - still as golden as the day I got them.Most importantly, these colanders work well. Initially, I was concerned that rice might get caught in the holes. That is not a problem. The holes are large enough for drainage - but not too large.
Incredible product: used for straining, washing veggies, washing rice, you name it I bet it does it. Just don't ask it to go to work for you. The varying sizes are super useful because sometimes you don't need the biggest bowl in the west and that's okay. Can't recommend it enough!
I really like this 3 piece gold set of nesting colanders. They have a nice look to them and are both practical and functional. I always need multiple colanders at the same time and I like that they are different sizes. The side handles are perfect for holding or propping up while cooking and draining. The small size is great for washing off small portions of fruit.
After thoroughly washing, I dried it with a paper towel and all this black substance rubbed off. Thank goodness I did not put anything hot on it yet as it probably would have seeped into my food.
This is a nice set of colanders that get the job done. They are easy to hold, easy to rinse. I’ve used them for straining pasta, fruits and veggies, oil from sausage(with a filter or paper towel) .. on a daily basis. They are appealing to the eye and look great in the kitchen. They are easy to store since they fit within each other. Good set to have.
This is a pretty colander set. They are lightweight, easy to use, and easy to clean. I just put them in the dishwasher. The finish has stayed golden so far. They work well for straining pasta and cleaning fruit. I haven't used them yet for anything else, but I think they could work well for steaming veggies over a pot of water. I like that there are 3 sizes and they can be stacked together for storage. They feel durable and seem like they will last a long time. I will update the review if the finish starts wearing off too soon.
