The price is a little high though, compared to similar products in the market.The base is plastic, so I don’t feel worried about leaving water in it overnight. The top piece is wood that is stained a dark color; you need good light to really see the grains —the stain is very dark. There are some imperfections, like slightly uneven staining in some areas and some indentions and imperfections on the wood itself. I don’t mind those very much though —they are just the marks of life.I am happy with the product overall and do see myself using it often.

If you like plastic, then this one is for you!
Although the website description claimed this tray was bamboo, the entire base is actually molded plastic. The tray itself looks cheap and certainly not worth the asking price. What a disappointment.

This tray is a beautiful bamboo surface with a grating that allows tea to be poured through the top into the reservoir below, an activity that is part of some tea preparations where you need to discard the initial batch of water used to prepare the tea for the serving portion to be created. So this Tea Storage Tray is pretty simple to clean at least that what I think, and its design plus material really does reflects the real Chinese made tea sets, but its first of all it has a too small of a opening to pour tea from and the capacity was not watch I imagine it to be, so I think the picture kind of exaggerate the size of this Tea Storage Tray. This was defiantly not worth the price and so that why I gave it a 2 out of 5.!
