Cute, decent quality. A bit pricey
Pretty utensils. A bit pricey. But I have no context for cutlery pricing so it might be normal.I love the bamboo handles. Not sure if they’re actual bamboo or just bamboo design.It comes in a gold box.The quality of the box isn’t great. But it’s not like I’m going to be carrying it around very often. On the upside I didn’t expect it to come with a carrying case. So that’s nice.The flatware seems sturdy. I plan on using them daily, even though the carrying case implies that these are used for special occasions.If you’re looking for fun cutlery and have the money to spend, I’d recommend these.

I'm on the fence with this one. I was soooo excited to order this flatware set. I'm a huge fan of pretty much bamboo anything. Done properly, it has a very high end and luxe look (thanks to Gucci). So I jumped at the opportunity to try this set at a discount.I was prepared for the tacky gold box it comes in. No biggie there. I can always replace the box if I really wanted to in the future or just keep it tucked away in storage. Each piece of cutlery comes individually wrapped in a plastic bag. The first thing I noticed is the pieces are very lightweight. I mean, extremely lightweight. It is not much heavier than disposable flatware. Someone else mentioned this may be due to the bamboo portion being light but I have to respectfully disagree. If that were the case, the silver end should at least make the weight feel unbalanced on each piece and it does not. I weighed the larger fork and it is 0.8 oz. That is compared to the dinner fork I normally use (also not fully stainless steel) which weighs 1.9 oz. So immediately for me, the quality is in question. For reference, I've had plenty of really cheap IKEA flatware heavier than this set.It's still a beautiful set and sky is really the limit on how many lovely tablescapes you can create with it, but I'm not sure how long it will last. The listing says it is high quality stainless steel and that the set is dishwasher safe. I'd never put these in the dishwasher, though, because of the bamboo and because I'm still not sure if these will easily rust. I think this set is way overpriced unfortunately. It's a fabulous deal for me as I received it on a hefty discount but I would not pay full price or recommend it at full price given the flatware is so incredibly lightweight. I also did a quick search on Amazon and see there is a similar set with 304 stainless steel for less than a third of the cost of this one, so do shop around for the best deal. I'll use this occasionally for now and save my pennies up for a nicer vintage bamboo cutlery set in the future.

Lovely occasional use set!!
The cutlery set is really nice. Deeply analyzing the bamboo handles I was amazed by how consistent the coloration is. Besides being made from stainless steel they are not really heavy, yet the quality is compromised by no means . It arrived well packed in a golden briefcase kinda of box which is pretty much sturdy and all spoons/forks/ knives inside were packed in a pair, in small zipper to keep them safe. The box also has elastic slots/loops on each wall to arrange the entire set keeping it more safe.Here, I must mention that besides being good quality it is not a day to day use set and requires proper attention after usage, but is perfect for those classy gatherings. It clearly needs hand washing and then immediate drying.I accidentally soaked one in water for an hour but it still was fine, cannot say about how it would have been if it were for longer hours.Overall the set is pretty much gift able and cool addition to cutlery. Just that I felt its a bit overpriced.

I think the price on this set is steep for what you get, and it's still a nice and fun set of flatware. It is pretty flimsy, which is why I think the price is too steep for the set. It requires hand washing so keep that in mind. The silverware is lightweight and is weird to use at first when you're used to regular flatware, I think there's fun in that though. Each piece comes individually packaged, not sure that's necessary. The box that comes with it is meant to be gift-able and I think it's a kind of tacky gold colored cardboard that cheapens the set.

Lovely set of bamboo flatware
The only con I see about this flatware set is hand washing but bamboo would not do well in a dishwasher. So if you don’t mind hand washing then this is a beautiful set. I was surprised that it came in a storage box which is nice but I hate to say it a really tacky gold shiny storage box, does not go with the look of bamboo. The set looks very pretty and it is lightweight. Love that it has a tropical beachy look. Since it is real bamboo the pieces are not identical but they have done a good job of getting them close. With a 6 place set it is a decent price. The salad fork is a little strange, small times that remind me of a pickle fork. So to me this is a good set at a decent price!

Likes: 1. Great for special occasions, not everyday you see natural bamboo handles on flatware. 2. Great house warming gift for new home owner who might not have flatware. 3. The flatware is light in weight. 4. The case is beautiful golden color, so hopefully it will bring luck to someone as a gift.Dislikes: 1. The price is a little expensive. 2. The bamboo has protective coating that is most likely not from a natural source.I gave 3 stars for these reasons and in my opinion I just find this set average.
