Every Salad Needs These!
I don't know about everyone else, but the sound of clanging metal utensils in a salad bowl really annoys me. I was excited to find these salad hands because they are made entirely from bamboo and wood. No annoying clanging or grating of steel utensils! They are hand shaped and the perfect size, very easy to use and control the toss of the salad (I also hate when salad goes flying out of the bowl. The hand shaped design allows them to fit comfortably in any size hand for tossing, and they can also be used to slide and swipe around the salad, and also to serve the salad. At our potluck yesterday even the kids had no problem handling these. I often worry about splintering with wood of any kind, but these are smooth and well rounded and show no signs of any potential splintering. So far we have only used them in salads, not for any other kind of serving...but they are great. A really nice touch that I didn't expect was the tiny nubs on each one...almost an unnoticeable blip and they don't cause any problems with storage, BUT in between serving they will rest on the side of the bowl instead of slipping in and getting covered in dressing. Genius!! After use they were easy to rinse off, dry, and store away. A great find for the kitchen!

Ooooo! Very nicely made. (They are not 16x12x2”)
This is such a lovely set of bamboo salad, hands! They are very nicely made with a gentle curve to them as well as very smoothly finished edges. Additionally, it took me a minute to figure out why they had a peg sticking out of each handle. Ha ha. It’s so you can hang them on the edge of the salad bowl and they will not slide in and make a mess! Outstanding! There is conflicting information listed on the Amazon page. In the photos, the correct size is listed. However, if you read the description of the product, it tells you that the product is 16“ x 12“ x 2“. That would be enormous and it is not correct. I included Photos with a 6 inch ruler so you can get an idea of the size. I frequently use tongs to mix and serve a salad, but sometimes I love this hand style because it allows you to really get a good scoop off the bottom of the bowl so that you can flip it over and tossing. It does a much quicker and more thorough job of getting all of your ingredients, coded and dressing and ready to go. Love them.

Quality Bamboo Utensils That Feel Thoughtful and Well-Made
These bamboo wooden salad servers are a great find. Right out of the box, they do not look or feel cheap at all. They have a nice weight to them and feel solid and well-crafted in the hand. The quality is impressive, especially for the price. They do an excellent job gripping salad, which is something not all wooden servers manage to do well. I also really appreciate the shorter length. Unlike long-handled servers that tend to slide out of the bowl or tip over, these rest neatly inside the bowl. The small pegs at the top of the handle are a smart design detail that helps keep them in place resting nicely on the top of the bowl. Because they’re wooden, a little care is required. Remember to hand wash only, don’t let them soak in the sink, dry them right away, and occasionally condition them with a food-grade oil. The included care instructions mention this as well. Overall, these are beautiful, functional, and a great value for the money. Practical enough for everyday use but nice enough to leave out when entertaining.

Great for salads
These bamboo salad hands are a nice addition to my kitchen. They are made of smooth wood and feel solid when you hold them. Bamboo salad servers have been on my list for quite a while and so I was happy to run across these. The first thing I noticed out of the box is the size and look/feel - its giving quality. They are rather large and have a good weight to them and smooth feel to the hand. They do a nice job gripping salad, but because of just how large they are, I do find them a bit cumbersome to hold. I struggle to find a truly comfortable way to hold without feeling a bit awkward. In the pics I included a mini can for size reference.That said, I do appreciate the length as they rest easily inside the bowl or serving dish. There are pegs at the top which helps keep them in them in place on the sides/top of the bowl or serving dish.As for care, I would think hand wash only and do not let them soak in water ensuring to dry them right away. If you have other wooden tools, throw these in during your scheduled conditionings. All in all these are a bit large yet functional and a great value.

Salad Hands
This is a pair of bamboo salad hands. I did not know I needed these until I had them. I have small hands and tongs are so awkward for me. I will sometimes use spoons to dish out the salad but it's not efficient. This here is the perfect solution. I love that these are made of bamboo. The wood is smooth and there are no rough or sharp edges. They are easy to hold in my hands and give me more control of what I am dishing out. They work great for salad and noodles. They are easy to use and easy to clean. I am really happy with them and will be using them often. These are a good value at around $10.
