Cute little tray

First off this is a cute and nice looking tray that fits my aesthetic. I initially wanted to use on an ottoman as a drink tray, but it's not ideal for my rather squishy ottoman. It’s not quite big or heavy enough to feel safe leaving mugs unattended on a cushy surface. It’s fine to set something down briefly, but it will still wobble on a softer cushion.Where it does work better for me is as a carry tray. The matting has a slightly grippy feel, so it’s handy for bringing mugs or small items from the kitchen to the living room without it sliding around like on a melamine tray. That said, it doesn’t have handles, so you’re relying on the edges when carrying it. It’s manageable, just something to be aware of.Build quality is good. The bamboo feels solid for its size, edges are smooth, and nothing felt rough or splintery. Packaging was simple and it arrived in good shape.

Perfect little tray for home office

Like some others, I honestly thought this tray would be bigger (kinda like Dalton from Road House). ;-) That's completely my fault. The measurements are clearly shown in the product listing.When I received it, I found it was very pretty and nicely made. I love the beautifully designed curved wood ends, and the rattan cross hatch serving areas are very well made and just lovely! There are no loose threads or uneven pieces and the colors blend together perfectly. The bamboo wood is nicely striated and has a nice luster to it. It also features four foam-like non-slip feet on the bottom to keep it from slipping and your furniture safe. It would work great on a bathroom vanity with some flowers in a candle, and work equally well as a pretty centerpiece for a coffee table, decorated to your taste. I really didn't need any of that stuff though. Then, inspiration struck!I am retired, but my husband is still working remotely from our home office and is often too busy to join me for meals at the table. I often take food back to him in his office, but there's not a lot of space back there. TV trays are too clumsy and big for the small room, so we usually just push some stuff away from his desktop to put his food down.This tray solved the problem beautifully! It fits perfectly on his keyboard tray and allows him to eat at his desk in comfort. There's enough room on the tray for a sandwich plate or a bowl, with spots for salt and pepper or a beverage. The rattan serving areas are non-slip, so nothing slides around. He can still use his mouse and he just pops his small keyboard on his desktop.This is really a very pretty and very nice tray. It's aesthetically pleasing and functional. It's well worth the asking price.

Nice tray, could have better non-slip pads.

The tray is advertised as non-slip, and while the pads on the bottom help a little, it still slides around easily. If you bumped it while eating, the pads would not really stop it from moving, so I would not describe it as non-slip. The tray is very lightweight but still feels strong, and despite the hollow feel, it does not seem likely to break anytime soon.With the coupon applied, the price feels more reasonable. I am using the tray as a decorative piece in a guest bathroom to hold a hand towel and a candle, and it works well for that purpose.

True to description!

So as pictured I was a little hesitant to order for it appeared a little odd. But I must say in person it is a very unique modern style that would fit with most decor! I feel it is a nice quality made product matching dimensions as described. Had neighbor stop in unexpected shortly after I received this product so when I was serving coffee and cookies I came walking into the living room with the 2 cups of coffee, small sugar bowl, creamer and plate of cookies carrying with one hand ( thanks to the nicely curved end) my neighbor was like "WOW! Where did you get that! It's beautiful!" I wouldn't say it's beautiful, but it is very nice and can be used in many ways either as a server (as I used), decorative tray on coffee table for a small vase, candle and knickknacks or even as a platter during a gathering to hold dips and appetizers. Since I am a solo and often eat dinner on the sofa I may consider using as a lap tray! Be made of bamboo I would not place in dishwasher or allow to sit in water but it appears to be easily washed. As with me bamboo cutting boards. I would consider oiling once every 6 months to retain the smooth feel and prevent the wood from drying out. Versatile, stylish and high quality it is very much a great value for the price! Great gift idea for under $20 for a guy or a gal!
