This little tray is perfect! Don't be alarmed if the box it comes in says "cutting board." It could certainly be used as a cutting board, but it's a bit tiny for that. No, it's just the right size for snacks and a cup of tea when I'm winding down for the night, perfect for my Cookunity dishes when they come out of the oven. Also, it's beautiful -- the wood is lovely, and the rim is just the right height.

This is a quality product at a great price. I bought 2 and use them daily. No complaints but I did find them a bit heavier than I was expecting. Also the finish makes them slippery on the bottom surface so I use a mat or paper towel to hold them in place.

Sturdy, beautiful, and functional. I wanted to add some interest to my wooden utensils display, and this tray was the perfect foundation for that. It comes well packaged, and it is protected by shrink wrap as well. I love the color and the grain. It’s lightweight, but doesn’t look cheap. It didn’t have any weird smells, either. It doesn’t have a glossy finish, so it seems like there IS a potential for stains to be absorbed. I don’t plan to put any food on it, but since it is in close proximity to my stove, I will be mindful of getting anything on it.

Purchase the mineral oil treatment for Bamboo

This bamboo tray is a great size. Although I would recommend buying the mineral oil that treats bamboo as after 2 months of use it split after rinsing it with water and letting it dry.
