Cap Is Extremely Loose, Won't stay On

I really like Barfly products and this is a nice looking and sturdy shaker, but the cap is held on only by gravity, no friction in the fit at all. Every time you pull this thing out of the cupboard the cap is likely to go flying.

Great Shaker

This is an AWESOME shaker. I've had a standard shaker for a long time, and I wish I had switched to something like this a long time ago. This is definitely pricey for a shaker, but if you maker cocktails on a somewhat regular basis, the extra investment is definitely worth it. It's 18/8 stainless steel, so it's high quality stainless steel and really well made. There really isn't a major design difference at first appearance between this and as standard shaker, but it performs much better in several ways.One, even though it's a small design component, there's an indent on the top of the lid that first your index finger perfectly so that you can keep a solid grip on the shaker when shaking your drink. It's a really small thing, but it's really nice and well thought out. Otherwise the components are all the same: shaker, lid, and internal strainer.Where the BIG difference comes about is that the lid on this shaker doesn't stick to the shaker and become impossible to get off after shaking a cocktail. With my previous shaker I would have to run warm water over the lid or get a towel to really get a grip on the lid to be able to pry it off and hope I didn't eject some cocktail along with it when I was finally able to pull it off. With this shaker, I can easily take off the lid even after filling the shaker full of a couple cocktails and shaking vigorously. I also love that this is dishwasher safe so it doesn't have to sit on my counter until I get around to handwashing it. It also just looks slightly nicer than a standard shaker.Performs well, look good, great design. Definitely recommend.
