I love baking Sourdough bread (i know, so does half the world) so this dome is my bread box. You can see your bread under it, it is heavy enough to keep it fresh. I also use it to cover my dough on the counter during the resting period right before the final shaping. LOVE THIS THING
I returned this cake dome as it has imperfections in the dome near the top where they are readily seen when you are peering inside. The above picture shows one such bubble within the glass not able to be removed as it was created when blown.

This is a nice dome however the glass is not perfectly clear, it has a slight grey tint to it.
The Dome fits perfectly on my cake stand. It looks very elegant and I am totally satisfied with it.
