This is a very well put together "travel bar tender kit" for small gatherings with family and friends that doesn't take up a lot of space when not in use.This is the perfect size kit for intimate gatherings with less than 25-30ish people and has just about everything you would need to make a multitude of cocktails! This travel bartender set is fantastic quality and would make a terrific gift for any cocktail enthusiast.This item arrives in a surprisingly large, very sturdy product box, inside of which there is a canvas roll organizer and three separately packed boxes full of the individual bar tools. Each tool is enclosed in its own bubble wrap bag, which further helps to ensure that none of the items are damaged during transit.Upon initial review, I was very pleased with the quality of the canvas organizer. The canvas and leather both feel durable, the seams are all neatly and evenly sewn, and the edging, straps, and handle are well-secured to the bag, with no fraying or defects noted. This item also includes a canvas shoulder strap, which attaches to the bag with sturdy metal clasps. While the outside of the bag is very nice, the interior is even better, both in form and function. There are plenty of pockets and individual slots included for all of the tools in the set, and additional storage is available in two long, zippered compartments. Closing the organizer is a clever combination of overlapping folds in the canvas, Velcro, elasticized hooks, and two external straps with adjustable buckles. The design of this bag is such that even when carrying larger items, such as the cocktail shakers, the bag will not pop open or spill any of the tools.Now, as for the tools, those provided in this set are of excellent quality and constructed of stainless steel, which makes them both very nice to look at and durable enough to use frequently and vigorously without concern for damage. I've made cocktails at home for a couple years but never had a dedicated travel setup, so this seemed perfect for weekend trips and backyard parties. Four stars from me.The waxed canvas bag is what sold me. It rolls up tight, holds everything securely without rattling around, and feels rugged enough to toss in luggage without worry. The 22 pieces include all the essentials plus extras like cocktail sticks and recipe cards. I especially appreciated the weighted Boston shakers, which feel substantial in hand. The melon squeezer is unbreakable plastic rather than flimsy enamel, and it actually works. I juiced a dozen limes without any flex or cracking, which was a pleasant surprise given how many cheap squeezers snap at the hinge.In this price range, you're comparing it to the Barillio 8-piece set at $16 or standalone bags like CURMIO at $27. This is a really good item. It comes with just about everything you could need for bar tending and it rolls up well into the sack that accompanies it. We were skeptical that the roll sack would look orderly once all the items were placed in side, but we were pleasantly surprised when everything fit nicely and the sack easily closed and kept its shaper (see pictures). It rolls up to about 15" long and is generally a cylinder shape with an 8" diameter. We haven't tried all of the products inside, but everyone we have used works as it should and isn't too hard to clean and dry before putting back in the carrier. It also comes with a cool little mixed drink reference card. There are a couple of small downsides to this. There is no spare pocket(s) in the roll sack, which would be nice for the at least the reference card, or if you seemed to need any additional items. There are only two pour spouts that come with the kit and I would imagine that at least 6 would be needed. It would be a great gift or a good item if you're starting to build a bar set at home.
