Great value, great coffee, solid construction, and great college student purchase
I have had this French press for about 2-3 weeks and so far it has been wonderful. Much better experience and taste than using k-cups (much cheaper as well). Probably some of the best made cups of coffee I've had.Pros:- Great taste- Solid construction- Great value for both French press and milk frother- Much much cheaper than k-cups or buying coffee from Dunkin or Starbucks- Perfect size for making cups for myself or for multiple other peopleCons:- Takes somewhat longer to make than using a Keurig, which I'm perfectly fine with myself. But it's very easy to make while you get breakfast ready or go brush your teeth or something- Cleaning out the press after each use. This is again not the end of the world for me personally but something to take into consideration. Clean-up is pretty quick though.- Only one marker for 16oz, it would be nice to have more increments for when I want to make smaller or larger amounts. I've found the approximate place to fill it for one mug full for myself pretty easily though. It would just be a nice addition to have more marks.Overall this is a great French press at a great price. This is my first time using a french press and it has so far been a great experience. Hopefully I don't have any issues with the glass breaking or anything, but based on other reviews it seems as though the company is very good about replacing broken presses, which was another reason I decided to purchase this press.

Great product, Great customer service
I purchased my Bean Envy French Press in December 2018 and it makes the best coffee I have ever made. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and comes with a spare filter. It is also very nice looking and comes with a frother - I have been saving a lot of money making my own lattes each morning instead of buying them at Starbucks for $4.50 a day. Last week the glass cracked when using the plunger -- I think I might have used a bit too much strength. As the company offers a lifetime guarantee I felt I had nothing to lose by contacting them. I wrote an email at 6:30 Sunday evening and received a lovely email back from Jill on Monday at 4 PM saying that a replacement was in the mail. Sure enough, my replacement press arrived on Wednesday mornign via FedEx. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with this company -- it is the kind of customer service that is getting lost these days. I have since recommended Bean Envy to two of my friends who have purchased their own Press. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make effortless great coffee.

I've had the Keurig, too expensive per cup, though it makes good coffee. I bought the Ninja, wanting the best coffee possible. It made good coffee and cost me $150.00 for the unit. Both of these have to sit on top of the counter and they need to be cleaned by running things through them. I bought this French Press with the little cream zapper. It makes the best coffee I ever drank. The little zapper means no huffing and puffing machine to do it, while the water is on the stove heating, I put the coffee into the vessel. I put the cream in my cup and fluff it up and then immediately rinse it off and put it back in it's little stand. I pour the hot water over the grounds, wait 5 minutes and pour it into the cup with the cream and I am in heaven. Now, I buy ground coffee, or I can grind my own if I choose, and make he best coffee I ever drank and say, "Yum, I deserve this." And it cost me just the cost of the coffee and the cream and it's so worth it, I bought two more for my friends that I wanted to share my favorite thing I found this year with them. It's easy to clean, simple to use. I can put it in the cabinet between uses and is likely the least I've ever paid on my search for a great cup of coffee at home. I love it. They love theirs and it makes me happy, first thing every morning.

I love this french press
So many things to love about this french press. Super easy to use, and brews a fantastic cup of coffee. I have so many positive things to say about this item that I'm afraid that it will come across as a fake review (it's not) or like I'm an employee of the company (I'm not).Pros:1. Very durable/well constructed. Glass is thick, handle is molded as part of the plastic holding the carafe so you don't have to worry about it separating. plastic is thick enough that it should last years without cracking.2. Filter/Plunger does an excellent job of keeping grounds out of your coffee.3. Easy to follow instructions for use for those unfamiliar with using a french press.4. Easy clean up (carafe is even dishwasher safe).5. Excellent value for the money. There are others that are cheaper, but not when the bonus frother is taken into account and at least by reviews none that match the quality.6. Seller proactively contacted after order before delivery to make sure I had a point of contact for any issues.Cons:1. Brews such a great cup of coffee that my daily cup from my Keurig pales in comparison.Comments:1. Make sure you use coffee that is ground coarsely enough for a french press. The pre-ground coffee in stores is going to be too finely ground leading to some grounds in the coffee. For best results get whole beans and a grinder.If you are looking for a french press I recommend this one enthusiastically. If you're a coffee drinker and have never had french press coffee try this one. If you have a coffee drinker in your life this is a great present.Update 9/21/2017After at least 200 pots of coffee in this, I finally had a problem. A small crack developed in the carafe and part of the lid that holds the plunger straight snapped off. The press was still usable and I was ready to just buy another one figuring at 200 pots of coffee that's a pretty good run for the money. However, I decided to reach out to Bean Envy to see if they really would stand by their lifetime warranty/100% satisfaction guarantee. Within an hour of sending an e-mail on a Sunday morning I had a fantastic customer service rep named Ben, get back to me, apologize profusely for the inconvenience, and ask for my mailing address so they could send a replacement. Wed afternoon, the new unit arrived. No push back, no arguments just an immediate, "we stand behind our products". Hats off to Ben and to Bean Envy. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. This is truly a risk free purchase.
