Excellent cutting board
I used to be a chef and I think that this is an excellent cutting board. It’s beautiful and high-quality. I’ve had it for a while now, and I follow the care instructions that are included with the product. I think this board will last me a long time as long as I keep taking care of it. I store this board on my countertop with a nonslip pad underneath and I flip it periodically so that both sides are used. I use this board for almost all my cutting needs, but I have a separate cutting board for raw poultry and fish, and another small cutting board for garlic.

Beautifully Crafted
These boards are made from beautiful pieces of wood, and you can tell time and care goes into crafting each of them. It’s very well put together, and except for a very small chip on one of the corners, the work is flawless. The package comes with mineral oil for seasoning, but looked as though it had been seasoned prior to packaging, which was nice. So far my knives seem to be making very few marks, which I’m sure will change over time, but the wood is dense and, though I probably wouldn’t use it quite like a butcher block, I feel confident cutting/chopping/slicing just about anything on it. It is easy to clean, and if you cook a lot, the 15x20 inch size is really convenient. Excellent value for the price, easily worth more than I paid for it.

Well made and heavy duty.
Well made and heavy-duty. It’s a good-sized board, thick, and understandably heavy, but not overwhelming and good fit on the counter. No noticeable smell as others have reported. Very attractive colors, especially when oiled (oil is supplied). We’ll see how it holds up (that’s the only reason for the 4-star rating).

Well made cutting board
Beautiful well made cutting board. Comes with oil to season it as well as instructions on how to season and care for it. I like the thickness of it. Its thick enough to be durable but it's not too heavy.

I bought this as a charcuterie board. It’s nice and heavy!Make sure to oil it a few times (I think I oiled it 3 or 4 times) before your first use. I don’t always have to re-oil it after each use, but it looks nice!I think this is a fantastic price for a board made of this material that is so large and thick.
