A cute idea that needs some work
I was so excited to find this. I had just struggled to open a bottle of juice, tried everything, including enlisting the aid of my 25 yo son. Even he struggled to break the seal to unscrew the cap. This handy gadget seemed like it might come in handy. The device itself is cute, the included star stickers to decorate your "tree" are a clever idea, but they will quickly come off. The various "tools" could in theory open various types of bottles with caps, but I don't have a need for that. Also, I don't have a problem lifting the tabs on soft drink cans. My main concern was screw on caps/lids, and this tool just did not work. The rubber insert that should grip the lid is too slick and just spins around. If you really put a lot of force into jamming the cap/lid into the slot and pressing down hard as you turn, you may get enough traction to loosen the top. It's just too much work to be useful. The device itself appears well made and there is a magnet on the back so you can attach this to your fridge.
