I started my sourdough journey and hated storing them in the brown bags because i feel like they went stale so fast so i got these beeswax bags and i absolutely love them!! They look so cute, the quality of the material is nice and the are really easy to clean!
Very cute and big bags. Easily fit 2 loves, it’s breathable so bread that normally “sweats” in plastic stays dry. Only downside is I find it pretty hard to flip inside out and actually keep clean but other than that it is nice. The handle is convenient too
These are quite big! Could fit a dozen bagels. Great to store bread and bagels so they don’t dry out the next day. Just roll the edges and lock like drybags. Way better than ziplocks.
These are exactly what I was expecting! I am a novice sourdough baker, making a few loaves a week for friends, family and ourselves. My stepmom uses beeswax wrap to keep her bread fresh on the counter. She’s the one that’s suggested I check it out. It’s awesome just how exactly these beeswax bags can mold to the shape of my bread, keeping it fresher longer. I love that they’re easy to clean. I just use a cleaning cloth and some gentle natural dish soap. I don’t wash them every time though. I often will wipe them clean and only do a more thorough cleaning every few uses. They’re durable and stand up to use and maintenance.My loaves are typically 9 inch boules. They fit in these beautifully but I could also easily fit my 10” loaves as well. They’re rectangular and can store traditionally shaped bread loaves, too.This design doesn’t involve a zipper of any kind, but it allows for you to squeeze out the air and roll down the open end of the bag while securing it with a clasp. It’s a great concept and great product.
I’ve been trying to reduce plastic in my kitchen, and these beeswax bags are perfect for my homemade sourdough. They are breathable, so the crust doesn't get all soggy like it does in a plastic bag, but they still keep the bread from drying out too fast. The sunflower design is really pretty. They are easy to clean—just a quick wipe with cool water—and they last a long time.
This bag does not keep your bread fresh. In fact it dries it out or creates mold! Just exactly the opposite of their claims. It only took 3 days to dry my bread out.
Appearance wise, it is very pleasing. I am just finishing up my first loaf of bread so so I can’t give an opinion on how well the bread is kept. So far, I don’t see any molding and the bread is holding up well.
