These are two lovely cotton canvas bags lined with beeswax for storing bread with low environmental impact. I like that they aren't made of plastic but still keep the bread fresher than plain cloth would. They have simple roll-and-buckle closures which makes it easy for us to hang the bread (potatoes, etc) from our open shelving: pretty, easily accessible, protected, and out of the way.I first got a damaged shipment -- the package had ripped open, apparently got dropped into some liquid, and then was re-wrapped and sent on its way. The bags were wet and reeked of perfume, and I wasn't sure whether the product had the smell, or if it was just the liquiud it had been dropped in. The beeswax can be damaged by moisture, so of course this was not acceptable, so I requested a replacement which was sent right away.I got my replacement in just a couple days, and it was perfect. No unpleasant smell! Phew!

I love how they are made of beeswax infused cotton inside and regular cotton on the outside. The pattern of the fabric is cute. The clip is very durable. It has a great design. I bought these to keep the little banana flies from my bread and they are effective! The bag is quite large and can fit a lot in it!

FIZZBOP Beeswax Bread Bags 2-Pack, Reusable XL 13x17 - If you are familiar with beeswax bag/cover upkeep than these bags are for you, as sometimes the maintenance on beeswax bags is more involved than using a ziplock bag. I enjoy the fun floral print and the bags help to store fresh bread. There are instructions included on how to care for the bags so make sure to follow those. Be mindful that where the bags crease and fold is where you will have thinning of the beeswax. I enjoy this eco friendly alternative to ziplock bags. These function much as a paper bread bag would, just coated in beeswax, and fit most sizes of bread.

Attractive cotton bags lined with beeswax keep bread fresh
I started baking sourdough bread during the pandemic and, during that time, experimented with different recipes and techniques. There is nothing better than a fresh baked loaf of bread, however, the problem is how to keep it fresh. I used to keep mine in cotton bags in a bread box, but I switched over to Beeswax Bread Bags some time ago and have been pleased with how long they help keep bread fresh. This Beeswax Bread Bag Reusable appealed to me because they are slightly larger than the ones I have and have an attractive floral design.This pair of bags measure 17” x 13” and come in beautiful rose print with a snap buckle. The organic cotton linen fabric lined with beeswax means they are breathable to allow air flow to help prevent mold. The bags are hand washable (when needed) with cool water and a mild, eco-friendly soap. Use a soft cloth or sponge so as not to damage beeswax coating and make sure that the bag is turned upside down to dry completely before using.I really like the way these bags look and feel. The cotton outer layer is soft, and it is easy to roll the top over before closing with the buckle. I tested the bags with ciabatta bread baked fresh in my local supermarket bakery.. Each day I squeezed and ate the bread, and by the 4th day the loaf was still soft and easily sliced. On the 5th day, will freeze whatever is left. Freezing is actually the best way to preserve fresh baked bread, but these bread bags make it possible to leave it out on the counter for a few days.Cleaning is easy. Just shake out the crumbs and wipe with a damp cloth making sure to let it air dry completely before putting the bags away.At this time 2 bags are priced at $23.99 which is not the best value, however prices often fluctuate on Amazon to meet market demand.
