They are well constructed and made of thick stainless steel.My husband is using it to spade his large outdoor flat grill. I use this metal spatula on my cast iron skillets in the kitchen. His first comment is about how strong this spatulas and he can push down real hard on thick hamburger patties and the spatula doesn't bend.I like the length of it.....not too long that it won't fit nicely in my kitchen drawers but yet long enough so that I don't get too close to the flames under my very hot cast iron skillets. Strong but inflexible

These are very good quality spatulas, made of stainless steel and all in one piece, so you will never have to worry about the blade coming off the handle. The one-piece design (okay, and the stainless steel) was the biggest reason I chose these. But what I couldn't tell from the pictures was just how hefty these are. They have NO flex at all, so you definitely don't want to use them on anything but stainless steel or cast iron. They will scratch a nonstick pretty much on contact. Also, because of the lack of flex, they are best for robust foods like hamburgers or other cuts of meat. It's difficult to get them under foods like fried eggs, pancakes or fish without tearing up the food. So even though they are excellent quality, they have limited applications in my kitchen.
