I got this as a christmas gift for my mom. Really enjoying this kettle! It looks great, and very functional. The whistling starts soft then gets loud! We have been using it for about a week now and absolutely no complaints. The handle, made of silicone, doesn't get hot, so its easy to handle. Would recommend.
Great teapot. I have had this one now for almost 5 years and it has held up and still looks and works great. I like the wood top. Easy to fill and still whistles.
We have had this a few weeks and are very happy with it. It looks great in the kitchen and is a good size. Its whistle is as loud as we hoped. it is much thinner than the one I had before, so we will see. It seems to be nicely built. We are happy with our purchase.
This tea kettle is very pretty and it does the job, but the wooden handle gets extremely hot that I have to use an oven mitt to touch the handle! I still love it, but that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars!
It's a teapot. A very handsome one. Handle doesn't get too hot and is well balanced. Lid fits snuggly. The whistle is loud and can be heard well. Exactly what I wanted, a teapot.
Love it
I have had this teapot for nearly 2 years now. All of my old teapots were "fancier" but they seemed to only last a few years; they would rust and discolor with excessive use. I LOVE this one. Even with me using it 2-5 times a day (I know, I should cut back-) it has not discolored once or even shown a hint of rust. I generally leave a few inches of water in it throughout the day; I'm not sure if it helps with the longevity of the kettle like you're supposed to with others, but so far so good. I highly recommend this teapot!
