Absolutely worthless

I shoved three pounds of ground venison through this thing and it was the most laborious thing I've done in quite a while. A lot of the meat would bypass the plunger inside the cylinder, then when trying to pull it out the handle came off the plunger. A lot of meat pressed out where the nozzle attaches as well. I threw it away after stuffing one casing.

Amazing to make sausage but be careful when handling

I'd actually rate this gadget 4.5 stars, and the missing .5 is based on how sharp the lip is, which easily cuts you when cleaning it. It should have come with a cheap brush so you won't reach it when cleaning the residue. Still, very affordable and easy to use to make sausage. I bought this because I have high blood pressure, yet I did not want to give up hotdogs. After some research, I saw how easy it was to create your own, and all I needed was this machine. I saw some review that you need two hands to push the meat into the casing, and that statement is further from the truth. I made my meat into a paste and had to use minimal effort to fill up the casing. I'd say buy a sausage pricker with this product to prevent air from entering your casing when you refill the can. I am very happy and satisfied with this product and highly recommend it!
