This is a marvelous tablecloth!
Lovely tablecloth! It fit the table perfectly. The luminescent quality of the weave was beautiful in the light. I received compliments on it as women walked in to our Advent Tea. It lay flat even though I had a table pad underneath. It washed well before and after first use. I did iron it after the first use, but I don't believe it needs an ironing after the first use. I'm impressed with the quality for the price considering a basic tablecloth would have cost at least $100 from Pottery Barn

Love it! It looks ELEGANT!
I was hesitant to purchase this given all the bad reviews but I decided to purchase it anyway because I need a vinyl tablecloth that doesn’t look cheap. I refused to buy a fabric tablecloth because that would probably mean I would end up washing it almost every day because of food stains and probably not being able to get them off. This tablecloth is thick, and elegant and you can easily clean it off with a wet paper towel. It also has a felt back which protects your table from scratching. It is a bit more pricier than others but the quality is amazing. Def recommend!

A great table liner
I've bought several of these padded, plastic tablecloth liners over the past twenty-or-so years. This one, in its 52x140" size, is a fabulous value. And a few minutes in the dryer before you try to use it takes out all the wrinkles and fold lines.What I like: 1. Can be cut to size - and shape (my dining table is oval). 2. And, when cut, this giant size covers several dining and work surfaces in our temporary ktichen-in-dining room (as we renovate after flood from upstairs neighbors' broken icemaker water line). It protects my dining table, range/stove-top and a bureau that are temporarily in use as desk and work surfaces, as well as cooking and dining platforms. I just put a table cloth over it (on the table) or not (range and bureau). 3. The overlap hangs naturally around the edges of the table and work surfaces, so even under a tablecloth, it doesn't protrude. 4. Plus, it folds, so very easy to store once we get back into our kitchen and need it/them only occasionally.What I don't like: Nothing. (I repeat, in case you missed the earlier comment about removing packing wrinkles: Just tumble it in a warm dryer for a few minutes and the wrinkles/fold lines will disappear.If you need a table liner, you won't go wrong by buying this one!

Better than the PVC "foam" pads
This table pad is of the older type with a relatively thin, embossed plastic sheet and a felt liner. I much prefer it to the newer style of thick PVC foam pads, which are too rigid and which stain too easily. The Benson Mills type of pad does stain (especially with tomato sauce) but a stain can easily be prevented or removed if you wipe it off quickly. The Benson Mills pad drapes nicely. My only complaint is that the pad is so tightly folded in its package that the deep creases do not relax over time. Perhaps it could be pressed with a very cool iron but that would probably take a lot of work. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.
