Not a man's lunchbox
The lunch box is perfectly sized for a person that's supposed to eat like if they're on a diet. This is a perfect gift for someone that wants to eat less and not carry that much. The only downside is that it looks like you're carrying around a makeup bag. Or something that has a nail polish in it. You're limited to one color and you have to walk around and pretend like no one's looking at you carrying around this small thing and and think it has your lunch so it's good.

My lunch looks better than my actual work outfit
I’ve been using this bento box for a few weeks now, and this is if Apple made a lunchbox. The orange and blue color combo is vibrant and makes my sad desk salad look like a gourmet meal. It’s got plenty of room across the two layers, so I don't feel like I'm playing Tetris just to get my sandwich and snacks to fit. The little sauce container is a nice touch. no more soggy croutons because I can keep the dressing separate until I'm ready to eat.The included insulated bag is great for keeping things cool, though don't expect it to keep your soup piping hot for hours as it's more about insulation than heat retention. Everything feels sturdy, and the included utensils actually work instead of being those flimsy plastic ones that snap the moment you touch a piece of chicken. Cleaning is pretty straightforward since there aren't a bunch of weird nooks for old food to hide in, though it is handwash only. :/ whomp whomp.Overall, it's a solid upgrade from the random assortment of Tupperware I was using before. I have a few issues but a pretty cool bento set overall
Overall I like a lot about this set but I do have a few issues with it, so I think it's time for a pros and cons list. I got this for day trips and long days where I'll be out and about all day doing errands, appointments, etc. and want to have lunch or at least a hearty snack with me rather than needing to pick up something junky that I'll regret eating, or just out of convenience and/or to save money. It would also of course make a lot of sense for anyone who eats lunch at work regularly, or maybe a college student who lives in an apartment but has lots of long days on campus. Anyhow, as I like to do, I'll start with the negative so that we can close on a positive note.Cons:-Perhaps some folks won't care in the slightest about this, but there is a relatively giant logo and writing on the lid of this set that I was not expecting to be there since it absolutely is not in the listing photos. I don't like the fact that I received something that looks different than the picture even if it's just a slapped on logo, and aesthetically I personally think it really detracts from an otherwise sharp-looking product. I thought the writing was just on the outer plastic wrap, so when I unwrapped it I was surprised and disappointed to find it was part of the actual container lid.-The plastic fork this comes with is something I don't think I'll use as it has three large prongs that look almost more like kids utensils and I don't think will be particularly effective in spearing my food the way I need a fork to. I actually wish this didn't have the built-in clips to keep the spoon and fork in, since I probably won't use them most of the time and I'd rather have had that top compartment completely flat without the clips since I'll usually be putting my own utensils and whatever else in that space.-The sauce cup, while cute and a great idea/addition in theory, is no where near liquid-tight. I could tell right away it would leak but went ahead and tested it anyway and I was right; just a little shaking it even while holding it closed led to major dripping. I think putting something like soy sauce or oil in the cup would lead to a full-on disastrous mess if you just threw it in your bag. You could put something dry in there or fold up a pack of soy sauce, but that would completely defeat the purpose of the sauce cup.Pros:-It's a good size; very roomy without being so huge that it completely overwhelms a decent-sized bag or tote.-Comes with an insulated bag which is kind of a bonus in my mind, though I will mention that I wish the bag had a pouch or pocket of some kind on the outside to stash a napkin or similar in.-I love that one of the container/trays is completely open and the other is sectioned (and the fact that it has two well-sized trays in the first place).-The containers themselves seal tightly and feel sturdy (no leak issues with that part so far) and well made as items like this go.-Love the colors and overall look of this (save the aforementioned logo on the top).-Very convenient that this is microwave safe, especially if you'll be using it at an office type situation where you'll want to be reheating but trying to keep things simple.-The price on this, under fifteen bucks at time of review, is a very solid value for what you get, to the extent that this is still a solid four star item for me even with its flaws as I perceive them.
