Nice stainless cap catchers!

I've run into some delays on my project so I have not had a chance yet to mount these (that spot on the wall does not yet exist).But...here's what I can say out of the box: These are nice looking stainless-steel catch bins that come with hardware for mounting. I chose these wider bins to be more certain of a catch if a cap goes sideways.I intend to mount the second bin outside, so stainless steel is even more important. The drain holes on the bottom are also important so that the bins don't become mosquito breeding buckets.Bins vs Magnets: In the past, I've used magnets beneath the bottle opener to catch caps. Magnets have a cool factor (especially if they came out of old hard drives), but after about 5 or so caps are stuck to the magnet, they may fail to capture a cap. What I'm saying is that magnets need to be "emptied" frequently. These bins will hold so much more!Tip on mounting: leave the screws slightly loose so that you can easily remove the bin for emptying.

Really nice looking and a great addition to the entertainment area

This item along with the wall mounted openers will be a gift for my niece and her husband. They have multiple areas where they entertain so I got two sets of these. The two catch bins are very sturdily made and I know will be a great addition to their entertainment area. They are smaller than I imagined they would be but that's entirely my own fault for not paying better attention to the dimensions. For some reason I expected the catch bins to be 10 inches wide and 7 inches tall. I was so surprised when I opened the box to find how small they are. I'm certain they will do the job they're intended for however. But I wanted to mention it so anyone else ordering will have a heads up to really pay attention to the measurements. Even though I have not installed these, I can see that they will be simple to install with provided hardware.

using for DIY bottle opener boards

I've been making bottle opener boards to give as gifts. I am painting different sports designs on them and screw in a bottle opener at the top and one of these catchers at the bottom. These cap catchers are 5.5 inches wide, which is pretty big, so I had to make sure the boards I chose were at least that wide. They come with their own anchors/screws, which is meant for mounting directly onto a wall, so I ended up choosing smaller screws for the thickness of the boards I was using. These cap catchers are sturdy and hold a lot. They fit my needs perfectly and the price is reasonable for a set of two. I would recommend.

I had just put up bottle openers around the house and realized that my friends would probably just let the caps drop...yeah. We all have those friends. So I bought these and they work great!The two catchers came in a cardboard box, wrapped in plastic with all the required screws and anchors. I used the screws without drilling a pilot hole and found them to be very strong. The catcher dropped right into place.It rained last night and you can see in the picture that the holes are definitely allowing water to drain out.
