Now this is much better than I expected. And man can it hold butter, we have no problem putting 3 stick of butter in it, could maybe put 4 in but it would be tight. The butter dish we were using was always a disgusting mess, so far this has given us no problem. Didn't have the problem that other 1 star reviews had about the word butter being out of line.
