Worked perfectly
I have a Vitamix Professional 200 with 64 oz container. This blade fit perfectly and was very sharp. I was able to remove the retaining ring on the container using a large pipe wrench, so didn't require a special tool.

Well made
I am very impressed with this blade assembly!! Blended this smoothly of frozen strawberries and bananas into silky smooth yumminess in no time! The blades are very sharp and appear identical to the original Vitamix brand blades. I actually cut myself trying to clean something out of the bottom so be careful! They are indeed super sharp!Assembly was relatively easy. The only thing with this particular one is that you actually have to purchase the device to remove the blades separately from the blades, which is an additional $10 about, depending on who you purchase it from, but they are all pretty much the same.It doesn’t take very long to do, and it certainly worth doing an upgrade with fresh blades. Especially after using 20 year-old blades it is a quite noticeable improvement. My main bit of advice would be that you want make sure that it’s snug so that it won’t leak but don’t push it because if you over tighten it damages the rubber gasket and that is not good. You definitely don’t want to over tighten this. It does say on the Vitamix website that if you choose to do this for yourself, they can’t guarantee that it won’t leak. So there is that sweet spot between being tight enough that it won’t leak, but not so tight that you damage the gasket. You want to be very measured with the pressure that you used to tighten it.That was a bit repetitive but you get the point, it’s important. So far these have been great! I can’t really test to the longevity because I don’t know what these will be like 10 years down the road and if they’ll be to parr with but mix blades, but they are an affordable alternative and so far I’m really pleased!I received this product for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for my honest review.
We got a replacement pitcher which had an unusable blade, so go this to replace it. Unfortunately, ours is the wrong size of pitcher. That being said, we also have the correct size pitcher, and this blade does fit it. We don't need to replace the blade yet, but are holding onto this until we do. I do wish there were some good instructions to walk through this process. The blades are sharp and it feels like it has a durable build, and the price is definitely better than the brand version.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.
This is a great replacement blade for your worn Vitamix blade. It does require a blade changer tool to make the replacement safe and easy but once installed, it works great. I replaced the blade on my 64 oz container I have a 48 oz grain container but the blades are specific to a specific size container. . This blade works very well. I did not realize how much a fresh blade improves blending and this blade has held up very well over the past 3 months. No visible dings or damage and just as sharp as the day it was changed. I will buy a few more. For family.
hmmm well i am not a super techie person when it comes to messing with hardware. I thought a blade would be a blade for my Vitamix but after reading some of the other reviews I see i need to do a bit more research here. I am a chef and have 2 Vitamix bases - a 5200 and a 7200 and i have both the low profile and tall containers. I was planning on replacing the blade on one of the tall containers but now will wait and do a bit more research as to the compatibility of this blade with the different containers and base models and see if I need to be mindful of what containers and blades go with what machine and not mess up my machines... darn I wish it was all just easy and compatible.
I never thought of replacing the blades in my blender until I was chatting with a friend about replacing the whole unit because it wasn't smoothing out sauces and drinks as well. "what about replacing the blades?"That's how I ended up finding and ordering this blade replacement.1. Really easy installation.2. Immediate results. My blender went from leaving big chunks and taking noticeably longer to blend, to performing like new.3. Excellent value.Would order again.
