    FANTASTIC!!! We've had our Vita-Mix for almost 30 years, and it was time to replace the wet container, but the parts to the container were still in great shape, just the plastic was breaking. I ordered a new pitcher and then this so we could remove the parts, and it works like a dream, even me with my arthritis was able to get it all apart. It was super easy to get it all installed and now looks like a new Vita-Mix on the counter. Great value for this tool.

    Buy a new blade.

    Buy the wet blade at the same time you get the wrench it will save you time The wrench works perfectly and there are plenty of videos on social media on how to use it and replace the blade.

    Don't buy it

    Unless you have a true commercial Vitamix blender, this does not do anything for you because you can't replace the blades on your pitcher. I've had a 5200 model for a couple decades now through professional kitchens and at home. This item is not part of the commercial line to my surprise. I found this information after contacting Vitamix customer service when this tool did not work. I returned it.
