A GREAT Replacement/Replica of my original! Very Very Pleased!

I'm a "smoothie king" in my own right, and I use my pitchers frequently. Trying out this replacement container was one of the best buys that I've ever made. The quality of the pitcher is sturdy and looks exactly like the original. The functionality of the container can take on the same speed as the original. I've used the pitcher on all speeds and have used both soft and solid ingredients. I've yet to see any difference outside of it being "newer" than my old cracked pitcher. The size is the same at 64 oz. Because it is literally the same container, the ease of cleaning is the same. This is a must-buy if you are looking for a replacement container. Hope this helps!

Short and stout

This Vitamix blender pitcher is a great replacement or additional blender for your Vitamix collection. This pitcher is shorter and wider than the traditional pitcher. The blades are the same. So it's not like a bread pitcher or designed for solid.It's just a low profile container. I like that this one easily fits underneath my cabinets. This pitcher fits both my Vitamix creations turbo and my Vitamix 5200 unit.I like having an additional pitcher to be able to separate The ingredients that each picture is used for. It's also good to be able to make multiple creations at the same time. I don't have to stop and clean the picture in between.

Very impressed!

I can confirm that this new low-profile VitaMix pitcher does in fact fit my 30+ year old VitaMix blender model VM0103. The locking mechanism on the lid is very smart, as the original lid that came with my mixer simply friction-fits onto the top of the pitcher. The center of the lid is removable as it is on the original, allowing for additions while the mixer is running. The pitcher itself feels sturdy and the lid is grippy, as is the handle. I appreciate the increments embossed onto the side of the pitcher. If they were simply printed on, I'd be disappointed by that, but the externally-embossed measurements will last the life of the pitcher and be easily seen. This shorter, squattier pitcher allows my VitaMix to be stored on my kitchen countertops below the upper cabinets if I wished, but since I prefer to keep mine in a cabinet I can now store the pitcher upright instead of laying it down as I did with the taller, skinnier original. I think this is well thought out, and I applaud the maker for seeing the usefulness of this redesigned pitcher and making it available to buy. (One caveat - this does not come with a tamper and the original tamper that came with the mixer is far too tall and will contact the blades, so do not use the original tamper. Turn the mixer off, remove the pitcher, stir the food, and replace the pitcher to continue blending.)

Just what I needed.

I was in search of a low profile pitcher for my Vitamix so I could keep it on my counter under the upper cabinet, this one fit the bill. It is still a large 64oz capacity great for all my needs. This pitcher fits my Series 5000 perfectly. It has a night tight seal in the base just like the name brand. I was a little skeptical about the possible quality at first but once it arrived I am not sure I could notice a difference.The four stainless steel blades made quick work of chopping up graham crackers in seconds as well as ice for cocktails. It cleans up just as well as the Vitamix pitcher. The only thing I wish was different would be color to the measurement lines, that would make it easier to see. I am pleasantly pleased with this pitcher and am glad to add it to the mix
