Good pitcher, mediocre blade.
I am using this on an old Vitamix 5200 that I purchased used. It’s a shiny pitcher, with a good fitting lid that seems secure, and I like the smaller profile. However, I don’t think the blade is as good as the original Vitamix, even though mine is over a decade old. My smoothies have more tiny bits of frozen fruit and berry seeds than I ever noticed with the old pitcher. I may try to switch out the blades, which is a pain and I refuse to buy a Vitamix tool to do that. The other thing I like less about the squatter profile is that it’s wider on the countertop and my smoothies spray all over the inside of the lid, so there is more cleaning. That said, the quality seems good, the plastic is sturdy, and compared to a name brand pitcher, it’s a good value.

Perfect fit on my Vitamix blender.
I am so happy and glad that I ordered this low profile pitcher. My main reason for ordering was that I wanted a pitcher that when attached to the Vitamix would fit under the kitchen cabinets. The exact height of the pitcher is 10-1/8 inches. 2 1/2 inches shorter than the original pitcher. I was concerned about the fit and use on my 26 year-old Vitamix model 1 VMO103. But the fit is perfect like it was made for my machine. Everything about this new pitcher is brilliant! Better in every way compared to the original blender pitcher. Perfect as a replacement or a backup
You might think this is pricey for a blender pitcher, but it is a very good value because it is identical to my OEM Vitamix blender picture that is from around 2005, so for about 20 years I've had it. I wanted it as a back up because sometimes I'm honestly just too lazy to clean mine out when making something that needs another pitcher. The rubber, the plastic, the metal, it all looks and feels just like my old one except newer. I am thrilled with this and expect it's durability to last like my original one. It fits and functions on my vitamix blender perfectly.

Nearly indistinguishable from the original
This blender pitcher looks very similar to the original low profile we purchased. It works well on our 5200 workhorse. Over the ten days I've had it I've used it for smoothies and soups. The smoothies come out as good as the original.The bearing assembly is where this pitcher has me worried. It isn't as smooth as the original, and at low speeds makes some odd noises that my Vita-Mix doesn't. I thought it would even out over time, but that hasn't been the case. Spinning it by hand you can feel it doesn't operate as smoothly. On high I measured both with a decibel meter. The original measured 84 decibels and this on was right at 92, so it is certainly making the machine work harder.
