Needed a pitcher, got a pitcher. Needed help, immediately got help.
Our Vitamix blender is probably 15+ years old and still works like a champ. Over it's life, we have now replaced the container twice. First time we replaced with the Vitamix brand, and this time I rolled the dice on something different. Price was about 1/2 what the OEM version was at the time, and I figure when this one wears out then maybe it's time to just finally upgrade the whole unit and start fresh.Build quality on this is nice. The way the rubber top latches on is fine, but I'm not clear how necessary this is? The rubber lid on our others always stayed in place, and I kind of think this one would too without the latch type functionality. The bearing spins fine and seems plenty smooth. The blade looks the same as on our other ones and clearly does what it does equally well.Customer service: Excellent. We have had our pitcher now for about 6 months. I noticed the other day that there was a fracture at the bottom of the pitcher. No scratches, chips, discoloration, or anything else, just the fracture. I reached out to the seller through Amazon because it was beyond the warranty time frame that is on the item description. They replied right away, I explained the situation, I filled out a single form, and they sent a new pitcher right away. Given the rest of the pitcher still looks brand new, I have to believe the fracture was just bad luck. The customer support was very much appreciated.
