Great, Powerful, and Easy to Clean!

I've been in the market to replace my current blender because the jar is plastic and the tabs that trigger the safety switch to allow the blender to run have become so worn that it's at the point that one has to basically tamper with the mechanism to get it to run. Not to mention, the motor pieces are all plastic.Not this blender! The gear in the base and the blade in the jar are all metal. The the safety switch mechanisms, while still plastic, are done is such a way that they should last far longer than the one year I got on my old blender (April 2023).The blade does come away from the glass and the gasket is also a separate piece, which is nice because that makes cleaning it a whole lot easier. Sometimes you just have to do a deep clean when using a drop of soap and water in the jar isn't enough.The glass jar is also very sturdy. It reminds me of the blender glass from my mom's blender growing up. You know, the glass that's so thick it reminds you of the court scene from My Cousin Vinny? Yeah, that thick.The speed adjustment is a great feature, too. It allows you to just turn the blender on and drop things through the hole in the lid, such as when you're making salsa or really needing to puree something, but you don't need it on high speed the whole time.I believe this one will serve me well for years to come.

Burned out first use.

I loved everything about the blender except that it did not have standard American units on the jar (not a big deal) and that the motor burned out on on its first use (a very big deal). Was making a pretty big smoothie. Used "Smoothie" mode for a couple of minutes. Decided to finish it off in manual made. After about 30 seconds the sound of the motor changed. Started to sound rough and gravelly. Smelled bad and a little smoke came out. I washed it out and tested it with just some water in it. Sounds terrible and still smoking. Packing it up and shipping it back. Oh, the smoothie was perfectly blended.

Great for ice, love the glass, be careful with the rubber seal!

I love our new blender! Very effective for blending both room temperature and frozen items. Love the glass and is very easy to clean since the bottom does come off. One thing to note is you have to make sure the plastic rim on the bottom is facing the right way otherwise it’ll drip out of the back. Overall, very happy with this blender!

Cheap (weak) materials used for motor to blade assembly connection

First blender I've owned where the connection from the motor to the blade assembly started slipping more and more. This due to cheap materials. Going to replace with a name brand.

Liked this well enough but broke

I looked high and low for a glass pitcher, medium-high speed blender. This was the winner, and it worked fine for about 5 months, then started making that terrible grinding of gears noise. Seems to be on the machine rather than the interface piece at the bottom of the pitcher. So that is a bummer. It was never going to be a Vitamix, but it did pretty well! I'm sad I now have to spend the time and money to get it fixed, or junk it and replace.
