Changed my bread cutting experience
My most unfavorite part of baking sourdough was cutting the loaf— until I bought this knife! It’s not just beautiful, it’s *extremely* effective and sharp. It’s definitely the best knife I’ve ever used to cut bread. I can tell the difference now if I use any other knife.I loved this so much I bought so many more for gifts for friends. My sister now says it’s her absolute favorite piece of kitchenware and we both travel with it if we bring bread anywhere because we don’t want to use another knife.If you bake sourdough or have friends who do, I completely recommend this as a gift to yourself or to them! What a great find
For my birthday I decided I wanted a new chef knife, so I started shopping and researching. I had decided to get myself a great, professional, German steel, and had chosen one at about 3x the price. Well, before buying I mentioned this to a friend who is currently attending cooking school and he suggested I check this one out. So I did.I ended up getting this full-tang, German steel knife and wow - I couldn't be happier. Blade is REMARKABLE at this price point - the thick steel holds an Edge like crazy, even after I've modified the angle to 17° (SHARP sharp). The balance is out of this world. I don't much care about the handle material but this Olive wood is gorgeous. The shape of the handle fits my medium size male hands perfectly and I feel like I have surgical control when cutting both meat and veggies. It feels like it will last forever in my hands.I would have easily paid 3x the price for this knife.

Great Gift!
