Great pans!

The **Blue Diamond Cookware Diamond Infused Ceramic Nonstick, 11-Piece Cookware Set** has proven to be a fantastic addition to my kitchen. After using it for a few months, I’ve found several features that make it stand out among other nonstick cookware sets. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience with it:### **Design and Build Quality**The first thing I noticed about the Blue Diamond cookware set is how sleek and attractive it looks. The **diamond-infused ceramic nonstick coating** has a beautiful glossy finish, and the **blue exterior** gives it a modern, polished appearance. The **stainless steel handles** are sturdy and stay relatively cool during stovetop use, which is a plus when handling pots and pans mid-cooking.Each piece feels well-built, with a **lightweight but durable construction**. The pots and pans are lightweight enough for easy handling, but they don’t feel flimsy or cheap. The diamond infusion in the ceramic is advertised as making the coating more durable and scratch-resistant compared to traditional nonstick coatings, and so far, I’ve noticed that it holds up well to everyday use without any visible signs of wear.### **Nonstick Performance**The **nonstick surface** is truly impressive. I’ve cooked a wide variety of foods on these pans, from eggs and pancakes to sauces and seared meats, and everything slides off easily without sticking. I barely have to use any oil or butter, which makes it great for healthier cooking. The nonstick coating has held up well over time, even after frequent use and cleaning, which is often a concern with nonstick cookware. The pans heat up quickly and evenly, so I’ve had no issues with hotspots or uneven cooking.### **PFAS-Free and Safe Materials**One of the biggest selling points of this set is that it’s **PFAS-free** (along with being free of PFOA, lead, and cadmium). Knowing that I’m cooking with safe materials is a major plus, especially since nonstick cookware in the past has raised concerns about harmful chemicals. The ceramic coating also doesn’t release toxic fumes, even at high temperatures, which gives me peace of mind while cooking.### **Oven and Dishwasher Safe**This cookware set is **oven safe up to 600°F**, which has been a huge advantage for recipes that require stovetop-to-oven transitions, like frittatas or skillet dishes. The ability to use the pans in the oven expands the versatility of the set, and I’ve been able to prepare a wide range of dishes with it.The fact that these pots and pans are **dishwasher safe** is another major convenience. I’ve put several pieces in the dishwasher, and they come out clean without any damage to the nonstick coating. However, I usually hand-wash them to help preserve the longevity of the nonstick surface, but it's nice to know they can go in the dishwasher when I'm short on time.### **Set Includes**The **11-piece set** includes a nice variety of pots and pans for different cooking tasks:- 7-inch and 9.5-inch frypans- 2-quart saucepan with lid- 3-quart saucepan with lid- 5-quart stockpot with lid- 3-quart sauté pan with lid- A mesh skimmer and slotted turnerI’ve found the sizes to be perfect for everyday cooking. The smaller frypan is ideal for single servings or quick meals, while the larger saucepan and stockpot are great for soups, stews, and larger dishes. The included utensils are nice to have, and while basic, they are sturdy and functional.### **Cleaning and Maintenance**One of the things I love most about this set is how easy it is to clean. Because of the nonstick coating, food simply wipes off with minimal effort, even if something has been left to sit on the pan for a bit. A gentle sponge and some warm water are usually enough to get them sparkling clean.I also appreciate that the coating seems resistant to stains. Even after cooking tomato-based sauces or frying foods, the pans have remained clean and unstained. To preserve the nonstick coating, I avoid using metal utensils and stick to wood, plastic, or silicone, which has worked well so far.### **Heat Distribution**The **diamond-infused ceramic** does an excellent job of conducting heat evenly. I’ve experienced no cold spots or uneven cooking, which is sometimes an issue with cheaper cookware. The pans heat up quickly and retain heat well, so I don’t have to wait long for them to get to the right temperature. This makes cooking more efficient, especially when making dishes that require precise temperature control.### **Durability**While the nonstick coating is holding up well, I’m still mindful of how I handle and store the pots and pans. I avoid stacking them directly on top of each other without padding, just to be cautious. So far, I haven’t seen any signs of wear or scratching, and the coating still performs as it did when I first got the set.### **Cons**- **Handles Get Warm**: The stainless steel handles can get warm, especially during extended cooking sessions or when used in the oven. While they don’t get too hot to touch, I do recommend using a pot holder for safety.- **No Lids for Frypans**: The frypans don’t come with their own lids, which would have been a nice addition, although the lids from the saucepans do fit them. It’s a minor issue, but having dedicated lids for the frypans would add to the convenience.### **Final Thoughts**The **Blue Diamond 11-Piece Cookware Set** is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a high-performing, budget-friendly, nonstick cookware set. The diamond-infused ceramic coating provides fantastic nonstick capabilities, making cooking and cleaning a breeze, while the PFAS-free materials ensure safe and toxin-free cooking. The versatility of the set, including its oven-safe and dishwasher-safe design, makes it a great option for both everyday meals and more complex recipes.Overall, this cookware set strikes a great balance between quality, performance, and affordability, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable nonstick cookware that’s easy to use and maintain.

A good, good pan

This is a good frying pan. The surface is anomalously smooth. Nothing sticks to it. If not for gravity, food would not cook on this thing, so don't use it in zero G environments. I suspect that in 10 or 20 years it may be discovered that it's introducing some sort of tiny microscope diamonds into our bodies, because this thing is on the edge of paranormal. But until then, it is the best frying pan, by far.

Still looking good

Update: It's been just over a month and my set still look and work like new. I actually posted a big note on the range hood describing my rules for using this set so my adult sons won't ruin them. Since it's been a month I'll stand by my word and reseason them now. It's worth a few minutes to keep them working so well.My rules:1. No turning the stove higher than 7. No non stick pan should be used at high heat.2. No metal utensils. So the pans aren't scratched while cooking.3. Hand wash only. It's easy since nothing sticks to the pans.4. Wash only after pans have cooled. Keeps the pans from warping.5. Do not nest the pans. So the bottom of one pan can't scratch another pan.I did order a couple of silicone handle grippers. These hollow handles do transfer heat quicker than the solid metal handles of my worn out set of pans. I've yet to be using a pan long enough on high enough heat for the silicone to be required, but I do notice that while the end of the handle is still cool and I can still pick it up with no problem, the closer to the actual pan the handle gets then the hotter it gets. Physics. I can easily tolerate warm handles and using the silicone covers if needed because of how great the non stick function on these pans works. Food slides around so easily in these pans that I can flip it like a professional chef. I can't say enough good things about these pans. I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought them.Original review:I just got them and at a great price. The first thing I did was to hand wash them. Then I coated them in canola oil and put them in the oven at 300 degrees for two minutes to season them and then wiped out the excess oil. The next morning I used one of the pans to cook my breakfast. Three pieces of bacon. They provide their own grease of course, but never even came close to sticking. They slid around the pan like I've never seen before. Hash brown potatoes next. No sticking at all. I can flip them in the pan like a professional chef. Now my egg. The potatoes had sucked up all the bacon grease and I added no oil or butter so my egg slightly stuck to the pan, but it easily broke free and slid around. (Next time I'll add a dab of butter or canola oil before cooking the egg. Somehow, with everything cooking so easily, my breakfast tasted better than usual. No sticking. No fighting. No adjusting stove temperature. My ceramic stove has the following settings. Simmer, Lo, 1 thru 9 and Hi. I turned the burner to 5 and left it there during the entire cooking process and everything cooked perfectly.I intend to ignore the contradictory claims of this set and will take good care of them. You know, dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended. Safe for metal utensils, but silicone recommended. So, no metal utensils. Hand wash only. Wash only after the pans have cooled. Never turn my stoves burner higher than 7 (more likely 6 since 5 cooked my breakfast fine). I won't even nest them. I intend reseasoning them once a month. I'm retired and have the time and I want to keep them in the great shape they are in right now.It is true that the handles can heat up. My old (formally non stick) pans had solid metal handles that never had this problem so I really didn't expect these handles to heat up. However, these handles are hollow and so the heat crawls through them much faster than solid handles. That said, while cooking my breakfast I never had a problem touching the handle and never needed a mitten or pot holder. I did check though and found that the portion of the handle closest to the pan did get to hot to touch. The portion of the handle that I needed to touch only got slightly warm. Those that have handles get to hot may have the burner turned up to high or else their pan may be on the burner for a very long time. I can see how if I'm cooking something like fried chicken that might take a while that the handle might eventually get hot so I might go ahead and order some silicon handle covers. So far I have no complaints with hot handles and I love these pots and pans. I'm pretty good at updating my reviews should things change, so if the pans start to peel, stick, warp or have other problems I'll update.

11 Piece set - Great retired couple or single person cookware set

I honestly wanted to give this a lower score, but I can't knock the set for my lack of knowledge. This cookware does what it is supposed to do. It cooks nicely and definitely doesn't stick. I love the color of the set. But gosh is it small. Every single pot and pan is smaller than I thought. For a family of five, I have to make two batches to get dinner done. As I mentioned, I guess that's my fault for not knowing how large a 3QT sauté pan really is, but it isn't large enough for a family of 3 or more. The steamer pan that was included was not the one pictured and doesn't fit into the stock pot at all, so it's basically a shiny strainer. As many of the other reviews have mentioned, the utensils included were useless and went straight into the trash, but I have plenty of spoons and spatulas.Overall, the set seems to be a good quality. Just do some research on size before purchasing

Excellent pans

My husband loves these. He is has really spoken about them and I know more about how much he loves them than I need to. He is not at all careful and the pans handle a lot of forks, knives and metal objects without damage.Excellent for even heating for everything from morning eggs, afternoon grilled cheese and dinner whatever.Cleaning up is a breeze. I really like that.
