I love knowing that I am helping the cause of reducing the use of plastics and helping our planet! I love all the pieces, and cute design individual cloth pouches. I use the straw for stirring and then straw. Every time I use it, is one turtle saved! I keep one in my purse, one in my lunch bag. The other 2, I plan on giving as gifts, so that they can also help save our planet. Bamboo is from nature and easily biodegradable. But I think its made durable and gonna last me a lot of uses!

I really dislike the plastic utensils in the break room. I especially dislike single use items. I'm happy with this set. My reason for 4 stars is the mouth feel of the fork, which takes some getting used to. The straw is narrow. On the whole it's easy to use and clean and carry.

Just Okay…

The concept is great, the product not so much. I wanted to make sure the utensils would work for my up and coming trip, I also wanted to ensure they were clean. As I was opening every set I noticed all the utensils needed to be conditioned/sealed as they looked like a rough cutting board. The forks all had strands hanging off them and I wish I would have taken some photos. However, I proceeded to wash, fully dry and then condition them with food grade mineral oil. I use this oil on my wooden and bamboo cutting boards with no issue. The utensils looked great and I was happy with the finished result. As I was using a fork for the first time, I noticed something a hard chunk in my bite of food. I took the chunk out and realized it was the tip of the fork! I was shocked as I didn’t bite the fork, nor was I eating something hard that would have broken the fork. Also the knives and forks are hard to clean, you have to use the straw brush to get all the nooks and crannies.
