This is a very high-quality product. It has some weight to it showing it is made of great materials. The battery life is great. I have not had to charge it once and it’s been about two weeks. The functionality is exactly what I needed. I needed this to connect via Bluetooth to my Crematune V2 Gaggia Classic Pro upgrade and it does so seamlessly. It instantaneously connected when I pressed the stop by scale feature, which was so nice. It has been nothing but perfect. It has been so easy to use for the features that I needed. The size is perfect on my machine. I have 3-D printed very low profile drip tray, but even if I didn’t have a low profile drip tray, this would be compact enough to be a perfect espresso shot scale regardless.

Great small scale

I bought this scale because it syncs with my Wendougee Data and is it nice. It’s great. It’s really small for my espresso machine and the digital display is easy to read and it’s very accurate. The build quality is superb and it’s as nice as some of the higher end scales out there. I would not buy this scale for pour over because of the small size but for espresso it’s great.

Questionable Stock Firmware. Great Customer Service

Update:Please upgrade the firmware as soon as you received the scale. The stock firmware is buggy and is the main reason why the scale freeze.This is closest to, if not better than, the Acaia Lunar as an espresso scale, but at half of the price of the Acaia. While the buttons feel counterintuitive, it is still something you can easily get used to.There is a bug where the scale would go totally unresponsive, but customer service is fast to respond and send out a replacement.For the next revision of this scale, consider adding a physical on/off switch to the scale, as this kind of bugs can mostly be resolved with a simple rebooting on an embedded device.Overall a good scale for the price, but how good it is for the long term is still unknown. For use in cafe, I would still go for an Acaia Lunar as it has a proven track record, but for home use, this is definitely an amazing alternative.

Don’t waste your money

When it actually turns on and works, it does its job. However, the display only works half the time and the touch buttons work less than that. This is my second one as I returned the first for the same behaviors.I was hoping for a high budget scale for half the price but it struggles to function at all so you’re better off going all the way for an Acaia scale or spending $20-30 for something that’s actually reliable.
