Really Smartly Designed Breadbox!!
Really nice, well thought out breadbox and I’m very happy with it!I love that the cutting board is versatile and can sit inside as a second shelf or underneath to create one large compartment. That flexibility makes it easy to switch between storing loaves, pastries, or bulk items depending on the day.The construction feels solid and everything fits together nicely once assembled. The knife holder is a great touch and comfortably fits either an 8-inch or 10-inch knife, which keeps everything in one place and easy to grab.That said, the instructions are a bit IKEA-esque and could definitely be clearer. I’m fairly handy and it still took me a couple tries to get things lined up correctly.If you’re assembling this solo, I recommend laying the backboard flat on the ground and propping up one side with a box while you slide the backing into the slot and secure the opposite side. Also, don’t fully tighten the screws near the front until after inserting the plexiglass door pins, or you’ll have to loosen them again.One important note for mounting: the normal round holes should face forward, and the keyhole-shaped cutouts should face toward the back for hanging on a wall or under a cabinet. This makes it easy to mount if you’re tight on counter space.Overall, despite the vague instructions, this is a smart, multifunctional bread box and I highly highly recommend it!!
