Smelled bad, but works great

I'm not sure about this knife. It came out of the package and the smell gave me an instant headache. Such a strong smell. I like that it has a cover for the blade. And an extra piece of rope for the handle to hang up. Nice that it doesn't have to go into a drawer or an organizer. Cut a couple things with it today, I'm not sure if it's sharp enough to cut through crusty bread, but it cut through my homemade bread easily. Very comfortable weight. Quality of knife seems pretty good. The functionality of it being able to hang up was very handy. I would recommend this knife.
