Decent little tool. I had a different one that came with my sourdough bread baskets and not as nice as this one. Works well, easy to hold, easy to raise / lower the blade, and small enough where it doesn’t take up space in my kitchen drawer.Worth buying
This is the best lame that I have found for sourdough. I love how it has a retractable blade so that my kids cannot cut their fingers on it. It is so easy to make pretty designs on the bread now!
This little guy does the job. I’m a home baker and do not require fancy gizmos. This came with extra blades, slides smooth to retract and cuts great.
Bought as a gift for a new sourdough maker. The items worked perfectly and were great quality as well as looked nice in appearance. Blade was sharp and the grip on the handle is perfect.
Good price, easy to hold. Looks like wood in pictures, but cheap plastic. We’ll see how it holds up Blade is flat like I prefer for scoring
The magnet makes it easy to find, it sticks to the side of the fridge. It’s easy to use and it’s sharp making it easy to score your bread
Really sharp. Love that part. And the magnet is amazing. I was having a great time with it and then one day, I couldn’t get the blade to go up and down. I have accidentally cut myself so deep so many times. Nearly had to get stitches on my finger just from trying to get the blade to go up and down. As long as the blade moving works for you it’ll be amazing. I’m sure it was user error. But I’ll probably look for another model to replace it. Lost too much blood to keep trying. lol
