Very Nice Knife for Bread Cutting but Poor Presentation

This is a very nice knife. My electric knife recently quit on me, so I was excited to review this bread knife. The serrations are very large. The surface of the wood is perfect in that it is not overly polished (not super shiny), so I can clean and oil it as I please.The knife comes with a cloth bag and a black guard to cover the blade when not in use. The cloth bag had excess, loose thread inside it, and the ends of the rope closure were frayed. I would give this knife five stars if the seller cared about presentation.I do recommend this knife.

Nice Grip Wooden Handle with Bread Slicing Blade

I really like the comfort of use and design of this bread knife. It has a provided screwdriver to help tighten the blade and create tension (I assume). I have not had to use that yet as it came ready for use. The blade has the serrated edge that allows for cutting without tearing tender bread, but firm enough to cut through crusts. I really like this bread knife and the nice sturdy canvas bag that it came with for storing it in.

Makes slicing bread a breeze!

I absolutely love this bread knife! I didn't realize just how horrendous the one I've been using was, until trying this one out. The blade is sharp and able to cut through any crusty bread! I used it to cut up stale bread I'd baked so I can make croutons. It was a little tough to get through, but the blade handled it like a champ! I used it then for fresh bread out of the oven and it was so easy to slice.The handle is solid wood, seems very sturdy and is pretty easy to hold in my opinion. I love that it not only comes with a knife guard (I'm accident prone!) but also a nice bag to keep it in. It did not come with extra blades, but it did come with a nice screwdriver to replace the blade when needed.Overall, I'd recommend this bread knife to anyone looking to make slicing thick, crusty loaves without struggle and frustration. The price is great for what you get. I'd purchase again!

Perfect Sourdough knife

My wife and I love Sourdough bread and have started buy whole loaves. This bread slicing knife is perfect for cutting slices off the loaf. What you receive is the knife, a sturdy blade cover and a bag to store it in. The handle is made of Bamboo Wood so it is light but sturdy and the serrated blade is sideways, which takes a little getting used too but it works great. The slices come away clean cut making it perfect for buttering the bread and the crumbs actually do seem like less than with a standard bread knife. We like this knife and are glad we found it on Amazon at a very reasonable price.
