This basket is beautiful and the fabric liner and cover are very well made. The warmer stone is very nice and fits in the basket well. The small one for keeping brown sugar soft is nice too. The basket is large enough to hold several rolls or a battard loaf. A round loaf might need to be sliced to fit the oval shape. It would look great on your table.
So I bought this for Thanksgiving. It came in fast and it is so beautiful and well made. It comes with an extra cover to keep you bread warm. We finished eating and the buns were still warm! The warming stone is so much more beautiful in person. Such a great buy! It did hold 15/20 small buns.
Just what I was looking for! I finally threw out my old bread basket that I’ve had for years. It didn’t have a stone warmer, just a towel to cover. I got lots of compliments on this bread basket at Thanksgiving that I filled with dinner rolls. They stayed warm and soft through out dinner. If you throw a lot of parties or cook for a large family, I highly suggest you get one of these bread baskets with the terracotta warming stone. It’s elegant and does what it’s designed to do. I think this old work great for tortillas and croissants too!
I just received this the other day, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it's really cute. I will be using this for Thanksgiving for my rolls. It should look really nice on my table. I used to have a rolls warmer, but it was electric, so I always needed to place it somewhere near an outlet which was not always convenient. It appears to be well made and hopefully will last for years. It's large enough that it should be able to hold a bread loaf or multiple rolls
Very nice. Was given as a gift and tgey loved it. Packaged very nicely & appears to be of excellent quality!
Each item is well made out of durable materials. The white color on the warming stone is a glazed finish, cleans easily following recommendations. It even came with a small round stone that can be used for brown sugar. I bought this for myself but it would easily make a nice gift.
Very nice basket set. It doesn't keep bread warm for too long though.
