I also have the 48 blade spring device and thought I would give this a try as a supplemental and/or extra unit. Works well, no issues cleaning in the dishwasher. Feels solid and well made.It also can compress the meat as well if you don't want to use the usual messy mallet.Let's see how it holds up long term. To be continued..........
Very easy to use and what a difference it made on some ribeye steaks. Easy to wash since you can go right into the dishwasher.
I haven't used mine yet, but it seems to be solidly built. A small cleaning brush is included, which is a good thing as it may be a bit difficult to clean between the spikes. One thing to know is that the spikes only extend 5/8 of an inch (~15.87mm). Someone who deals with thick hunks of meat may want another tenderizing solution.
Larger than I expected; but in a good way for arthritic hands. Solidly built. My only wish is that it went a tad bit deeper into the meat. But, meat was tender and flavorful. The size does allow for easier cleaning with provided brush.
Works great! You don’t have juice flying everywhere like you do with a hammer tenderizer!
I have carpal tunnel and severe arthritis in my hands. It’s extremely difficult to do many simple things such as opening jars and cutting food. Prior to this amazing tool, I was using a fork to violently stab my meats to tenderize them. It was quite painful. But now, it’s not a problem at all! My only regret is not finding and purchasing this tool earlier in life. I love it! 10 stars out of 5!
