Very handy way to make cold brew coffee. Just fill the filter with coarse ground beans, then pour the water through the filter. Leave in refrigerator for 12 hours or more. The filter has a good rubber gasket at the top so it's fairly air tight. The filter is easy to clean.
I bought this cold brew pitcher on the recommendation of my daughter, and I’m glad I did!!! It is so easy to use and it makes very smooth flavored cold brew. It is well constructed from glass and metal but doesn’t feel too heavy, even full. The seals work very well keeping the flavor of my coffee pure. This pitcher is easy to clean as well. The cylinder that holds the coffee grounds is a little difficult to clean out however. It might have been helpful if the company included a tool to assist in getting all of the grounds out.All in all, I am very pleased with this cold brew pitcher and I haven’t hesitated to recommend it to friends.
It's pretty great, It basically lives in my fridge now. I make like 3 batches of cold brew a week roughly, keeping the made one in a separate jug while one steeps for a few days.It works well, I like the design. It gives me mad scientist vibes when I make my coffee which is just a bit of free seratonin. I haven't used it to make tea yet as I usually enjoy hot tea but I can already tell it would do a great job.i do get some muckyness in the bottom but I'm gonna try a different coffee blend and see if it fixes that problem.
The silicone "seal" immediately slipped off and has been difficult to get back on and get to stay. It unseals from where it's meant to be every time I open the top.
I love the results from this device - it makes wonderful cold brew coffee and becomes both a real money saver, and a way to use your preferred grounds. I haven't had a problem with grounds getting loose or too much sediment, though you need to use a coarse ground like all the instructions say. But the graduated shape of the flask means you can't really make something less than the full volume. If you're measuring by weight, you just can't pack enough grounds into the bottom of the infuser to get the ratio to the mass of the water right until you get all the way to to the top. A less stylish regular cylinder would be easier to use for different portions.
It works really well. I like that, It’s not plastic of some sort but that it’s all glass and stainless steel. My previous cold brew coffee maker was made at plastic and glass, and it gave off a rubbery taste into the coffee. This device does not do that.
Love the look and size of this cold brew pitcher. I can make enough for a few days of heavy coffee drinking. The filter is nice. I am scared the handle will break off but it’s been durable enough the six months I’ve had it.
