I'm not a coffee connoisseur but I have been grinding coffee beans in a small electric coffee grinder for years. This one is a burr grinder which is supposed to be better for getting a consistent grind size. It can grind enough beans for 12 cups of coffee (not 12 cups of beans); the machine is fairly small and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. It's black with smoky gray transparent chamber in the top for whole beans and in the front for the ground coffee.It doesn't take much time at all to grind enough for a few cups, and it's very easy to clean after using with a little brush. I can say that the grinds do come out more even than the electric grinder make it. I've ground very fine for espresso and then medium for pourover coffee. I also spray a few spritzes of water on the beans (depending on the volume) to reduce static, and I let it dry well afterwards before brushing out and closing the top.Overall, I'm really pleased with this grinder.
