Nice dish with minor flaws

This is a nice countertop butter container.It has a nice rustic design that blends well with different kitchen decor. The silicone seal does make it pretty air-tight so you should be able to keep butter on the counter for a good while. And size-wide, it is big enough to accommodate most premium butter sticks (as they tend to be smaller than the more economical boxes).There were some things I think could be improved on. First, and mostly for clarification, I wouldn't consider this a container for fridge storage. It's a bit on the heavy and bulky side. And, with a big family, fridge space is not to be wasted. Also, as I said, the seal is airtight, but that makes it a bit hard to pop open at times, having to jiggle the lid back and forth until it pops open. Last, there was some residue (highlighted in red circles) left on the inside of the dish. It seems to also be silicone, so I'm not sure if the seal was still warm when it was placed, or what else it might be from. I scraped most of it off, but I don't want to overdo it so the finish doesn't scratch.

Very nice large butter dish with a few big flaws

This is a rather large butter dish that has a very nice appearance and cleverly incorporates the butter knife. But unfortunately, it has a few flaws in the execution that leave me baffled. I love the exterior texture and the wood bamboo lid is very nice. But the knife fits very loosely in the cut-out, so that it could fall out and onto the floor. Not sure why they didn't make it a tighter fit so that it snaps in place. Likewise the lid itself doesn't quite fit the container, which is odd since you'd expect this to be airtight. When I filled the container with water and put the lid on—which has a rubber seal all around—the water poured out. Which means air can get in {see my pics). I was hoping to use this for yogurt as I don’t need such a large butter dish, but the fact that it is not airtight is a deal-breaker. Perfectly good for pistachios, though!
