A lightweight, and attractive butter dish good for counter, fridge, and freezer.

Note: The Acacia wood is supposedly not dishwasher safe, and you should lightly hand wash it. The plastic top is dishwasher safe. I removed a star because that direction needs clarified.This is an attractive word butter dish, with Acacia wood (not bamboo), and a plastic top. It’s supposedly can handle West Coast and East Coast butter (and margarine), which are different shapes, and have two marking systems for each of those, to slice table spoons of butter. This can be put in the fridge, freezer, and on the counter.I like that this kind of has little grooves to grab onto, and has attractive wood. I also like that it has the two scales to measure tablespoons of butter, and a cover let’s see you see your butter easily and let you know if you need to replace it.The only criticisms I have for this are the instructions need clarified as I mentioned above, and also it would be very nice if they actually wrote the word East Coast butter and West Coast butter next to the scale that is appropriate to them because many of us may not be aware which is which. That would be useful in a way they can improve the item.This is an easy to use butter dish, that is a good value for what you’re paying. I think this will help keep your butter & margarine safe and usable.

Just lining up a butter stick to the markings will make it easy to cut off the exact amount needed for a recipe. I used to keep the wrapper on the butter stick just so I would have those tablespoon marking measurements. Looks great but the measurements are confusing

This is a review for the HEKEIEON butter dish with lid. This is a stylish, minimalist butter dish with an acacia wood base and a food grade plastic lid. It fits perfectly in my fridge's butter compartment and the acacia wood looks really nice when I pull it out for my breakfast table spread on weekends. I especially like the darker honey shade for the dish base. I appreciate that it's dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, and it's so affordable!However, it's not without its flaws. The base has grooves on each side to indicate the tablespoon portions but it's confusing because both sides say "TBSP" even though the measurements are different (see attached images). I assume this feature is because the dish fits both the longer, narrower east coast butter stick and the taller and wider west coast stick, meaning that a tablespoon is a different thickness depending on which type you have. But I don't think it should say "TBSP" on each side cause it's confusing and no one wants to deal with a confusing butter dish! So one star off for that. But overall it is very pretty and elegant.
