Use this daily for my butter. It keeps it fresh and free from contaminates. The seal is easy on and off but tight. Easy to use and clean. Nice quality. Room temp butter without it melting.
I really like this butter dish for a few reasons. It holds 3 whole sticks of butter 3/4 lb. It really nice looking in the kitchen, i leave my butter out. Very nice bamboo lid, easy to clean and wash by hand. I put 2 whole sticks of butter in the bottom side by side, then take the 3rd stick, cut it in half length wise and put that on top of the bottom sticks side by side. I got the navy blue dish.
Giftable and practical addition to your kitchen table. Keeps butter soft and fresh for a long time. The airtight lid keeps butter fresh and ready for use without having to melt or let it go soft to be spread.
We used to use a dome top butter dish, but the butter would always get all over the lid and it was never clean looking. This butter dish is perfect. You can fit two sticks in at once, it keeps the butter fresh and spreadable, and you don't have to see the butter at all because it's in a nice attractive opaque container.
This is a very nice product, but the cover was scratched when I received it. Not enough to send back as it didn't interfere with the function and I didn't think it would be a deal breaker. Now that I kept it and am using it, it bothers me every time I put it on the table! Make sure to examine your product thoroughly when you receive it.
Purchased this to replace a glass butter dish. I wanted something that was less likely to chip or break, would hold two stick at a time & be attractive on the table. This has done well so far. The lid stays sealed on the keeper, and so far I like the wooden lid/plate (whichever way you use it) for slicing the butter. I have not cleaned it the wooden lid yet, but I believe running it under hot water & a bit of detergent on a cloth or scrubber will do the trick nicely. I would not consider immersing it. This butter keeper was a great choice!
Love this butter dish! I keep this black one on my counter for soft butter and I just bought a white one to keep my cold butter in fridge. It’s nice and big as I like to buy bigger blocks of butter. Nice and thick and easy to clean. I recommend buying!
