Perfect spreadable year round.

I already have this butter dish. The one I have now is my second one. This one is for my daughter for Christmas. She loves mine and said she wants one. She’s tired of having hard butter if she keeps it in the fridge. But if she has it out to be spreadable it melts and makes a mess. Mine stays perfect. Just keep water in it up to the fill line. Don’t know how it does it. Mines perfect year round.

Works but very poor fit

Worst butter dish I have ever used. All the parts are there but not fit correctly. Butter dish slides around in the water trough and the lid fits very loosely on the butter disk. Like they were made by a 10 year old.

Wow!

What a great butter keeper. Love not having to soften a stick of butter to get it into the round ones. Love that there is no way it will loosen and fall into the water. One slight problem I have is that I have cats. Trying to find a hiding place to keep it out of curious paws was a challenge. Tried hiding behind the toaster, but it was discovered by one of my kitties since the lid was slid partially off in the morning. So rather than hide it, I put it into a half gallon zip lock. The half size fits it perfectly. You don't have to take it completely out to use it either. Just slide the zip lock down. Now even if one of my cats gets curious, the lid can't end up on the floor smashed and the butter is safe and edible. I keep it on a silicone mat so they can't slide it around. Seems to be working like a charm and I absolutely love having soft butter available all the time. I use less too since it is so spreadable. Wonderful convenient design. Just unwrap and drop a stick in and you are done.
