Sturdy and drop proof, great look. A couple weird things though. I have to use oven mitts when microwaving with them because they heat up a lot in the microwave. And sometimes its hard to tell if they are clean if you eat oily foods. Definitely recommend though, I am clumsy and drop things but these are light and sturdy.
My husband and I absolutely love this set! They’re easy to clean and classy looking yet affordable! The downside is they aren’t microwaveable but it has gotten us to cook more rather than to microwave so I see it as a plus! Definitely recommended as they are lightweight and versatile!
I've done everything to clean these plates differently. I've used them in the dishwasher when I very first got them and immediately they had some kind of white residue looking texture on the edges and the surface.I've tried different dishwasher soaps 🧼 🙃It always seems to be there.I've gotten used to it and have continued to use it.I have not used them in the microwave, I feel scared to for some reason.When i first bought these I thought they were stone, however these plates and bowls are not made from stone.Whatever that material is it is very durable, has handled excellently every multi point drop my family has put them through. They are strong!The pattern is this very cool glossy finish that you can feel. I haven't had any issues with peeling.These do scratch. The scratched do not turn white. It does seem that the material is black through and through. I try not to focus too much on that. I feel like that is an unavoidable problem with dishes.I've gotten two sets to fill my family needs. The sizes are great. I wish the bowls held a bit more I like really big cereal bowls. Never the less they get the job done.
We use these more than my fancy set. I love that they are durable, look nice and dishwasher safe. I'll definitely be buying more.
The look of these are exactly as pictured. They are a SEXY set and very light weight. Looks aside there are a few things to consider before purchasing this set:1. THEY ARE NOT MICROWAVABLE: When I purchased this set, I didn't see anywhere in the description that this was the case. When I received the set (well packaged), there was tons of documents saying NOT MICROWAVABLE. So, if you are preparing a meal and have them on the table a bit to long, you can't just place the whole plate in the microwave.2. They are very LIGHTWEIGHT: they feel like the plates that kids have in their play-sets. so they look expensive, but feel cheap.3. They don't feel like the plate you can place over your hot skillet to turn your GORDON RAMSEY hash browns. They feel as if you place a hot item on them they will melt like a plastic plate.Honestly, I am on the fence regarding these plates as they really LOOK good. I will give them a couple weeks to go through my cooking routines, and if they cant hold true, I'll either return or use them for meal that don't require reheating.
These plates are great for outdoor entertaining and can go with any theme. They go through the dishwasher perfectly!
This is cheap Material almost disposal like plastic, not worth 50 dollars maybe 20, very disappointed
