This is a great set for the price. My girlfriend frequently makes cakes and cupcakes and her old carrier is no where near as fancy as this one. It seems very durable and not cheaply made. The size is about what you'd expect for a cake/cupcake carrier. The teal color was automatically her style. The included carrying case is also a nice touch, making everything easy to transport and fit inside of it.
I love this thing! The zipper carrying case is really nice, zips and unzips easily and it has a built-in velcro wrap to hold the handles together.The cake holder itself is really nice. It's very light and has a transparent lid to see the cake inside. The handles on the lid sit completely flush, and then flip up to hold it. It has 4 clips to hold the lid on, and I'm not crazy about them. They're kind of harder-to-snap into place and to open, so you have to be really careful not to jostle the cake too much when you're opening and closing the lid. Also, the clips are designed in a way that when you open them, they raise the tray up. In other words, it doesn't sit flush with the clips open, which isn't the best when there's a cake on it!The included cupcake holder is also nice, but not perfect. It fits in the center of the cake holder bottom, but it doesn't actually clip to anything so it just sort of floats there until you put the lid on. Once the lid is on it stays in place, so there's no concern of shifting while carrying. But before the lid goes on and after the lid is removed, it can just slide around.The set comes with some really nice cupcake liners, two kinds, and also beautiful scalloped cake trays, all a really nice touch!Overall, is it the best carrier out there? Definitely not. But the value is there, it's a great option.
reasonably solidly built, no fear that the lid will pop off and deposit your cake onto the pavement ... the carry case addresses any remaining paranoia in that regard (I live in fear ... i'm replacing my old one because it did just that!)it's tall enough for virtually all the cakes we bake, and the cupcake insert is useful; seems really worth the money to us
Great cupcake organizer. Has everything needed, even the cupcake liners! Nice insulated bag with carry handles. Cake board and a plastic divider thing to separate each individual cupcake so they don’t get ruined in transport. The item is sturdy and a a good value for the money.
This is a good-sized carrier for my wife and me. When we make a cake, it’s usually a 10-inch round, and this carrier accommodates that easily, including cakes up to about 5 inches tall.The cupcake holder is a nice extra, though it probably won’t get a lot of use for cupcakes in our case. That said, it will still be useful as a support base when carrying other items, like casseroles. Without it, the carrier would flex too much and wouldn’t feel as secure.The insulation is a nice touch and reminds me of the insulated pizza bags many grocery stores use. It should do a good job maintaining temperature for transport.The clear cake container itself fits well and locks down securely with three latches. One thing to note, however, is that the latches are quite stiff and take a fair amount of force to snap into place. Once they’re locked, though, the lid feels very secure and stable.Overall, the carrier appears to be well made, thoughtfully designed, and sturdy enough for regular use. Aside from the stiff latches, we’re very pleased with it.
An all-in-one cake carrier set, even comes with a holder for cupcakes!The set has it all; a carrying case that is insulated and has a zipper to, the cake holder with the lid, a cupcake holder insert and cupcake paper liners and a set of cake boards.Everything is fitting together nicely and the lid is held with 3 big clamp like holders. This creates a very tight seal and keeps whatever is inside fresh.The set altogether looks very nice and the colors are appealing, too.Everything feels well made, good quality and it is also not too heavy. This is handy when something needs to be transported, think of the holder and the carrier together, but those are easily hauled around.And finally everything can be stored inside the carrier bag and the set doesn’t take up too much space.
This Cake Carrier is a bit smaller than I expected. Compared to my standard carrier, it’s about an inch shorter in both height and diameter, and it feels quite lightweight. While this size can work for smaller cakes and pies, it may limit my options.The description states it comes with gold cake circles, but they are actually white. This isn't a major issue for me, although the cake circles are quite thin, so I would probably double them up for better support. Additionally, it includes two containers of paper cupcake liners, which is a nice touch.One feature I appreciate is the insulated bag, which claims to provide a seven-hour freeze-lock effect—an interesting benefit. The bottom section of the cake carrier can be flipped over to serve as a five-section serving tray, a convenient idea I wouldn't have considered initially.There’s also a cupcake holder insert, but it only accommodates eleven cupcakes, which highlights how much smaller this carrier is compared to standard models. I suppose you could always enjoy the twelfth cupcake yourself since there’s no place for it!The top of the carrier snaps onto the bottom with three clips. I was concerned that I might break them while securing everything, as it was somewhat difficult to snap them into place, but they held up.In my honest opinion, this set feels a little pricey at $31.99. While it comes with some extras, everything seems a bit small. Given that cakes these days are often multi-layered, you couldn't fit more than a standard two-layer, 8-inch cake, not even a whole dozen cupcakes. For my needs, I think I would prefer a larger carrier.
