    Good set for icing cakes and other desserts

    I used this set to decorate my son’s birthday cake at the last minute. The turntable part is smooth and worked wonderfully as I frosted the cake. The included tools are so nice to have. I didn’t use all of them yet, but the spreader I did, and it worked just as expected. If I would have had more time, I would have used the scrapers on the side to neaten everything up, but with just the spreader, I was able to do a decent enough job. I used a whipped pudding frosting, but if I would have used stiff buttercream, I would have been able to get super smooth edges with the tools. This is a great set for the price, and I’m happy to have it on hand for making more cakes down the road.
