This was so much fun to do with my kiddos! The sticks are nice and long. The silicone mat makes clean up super easy!! The molds work very well to shape the cake and they hold their shape very well!! I tried the “YouTube tip” of rolling the cake mixture flat and then pressing out the shapes with the ABS cutters — and it worked perfectly. The discs come out even, smooth, and all the same size. No more rolling messy balls by hand and hoping they look similar!The tray design is honestly genius. This comes with a stand, sticks, and 2 molds. When I first opened the box, I was a little confused because they have the stand closed together with a small stick like pin. There are no instructions. I got back online and looked at what I ordered and realized it was just closed together for shipping. I reread the description so all is good.The molds come in a circle and heart. They were easy to use and pop out the cake. The stand is silicone and sturdy enough for the sticks to hold up right.
I was excited to try this cake pop molder, but unfortunately it didn’t come with any instructions or information at all. It wasn’t even packaged in a box—just plastic bags—so I really had no idea how to actually use it. Because of that, what I hoped would make my dessert easier ended up feeling more complicated. I still haven’t used them and ended up making something else instead. I wish it came with directions or at least a guide so I could actually give it a fair try.
What a fun set! I ordered these so that my 7 year old can make cake pops for her birthday party. The set is super easy to use. If you want to be lazy, just buy a box cake and some ready-made frosting...or even easier still, an already made cake from the bakery. Either way, in addition I love that the pieces are versitile, like I could use the molds for candy as well. This set would make a great gift as well for someone who likes to bake. Cleaning is easy too. Sometimes cake can get stuck to even silicon molds, so I just soak the molds in soapy water for awhile and then it's easy to scrub the cake off.
I ordered this cake pop mold set in order to use cake scraps efficiently. I plan to dip the cake pops in white and dark chocolate. I like that it comes with everything I need to make my first cake pops. This takes the stress off as I undertake this new adventure. I’m hoping to freeze them to save for events.
