Had purchased a daisy makes but put in the dishwasher and they got ruined. So I purchased these. They came extremely fast - next day with no additional shipping fee. They were perfect just as great as daisy makes or even better. I love them. They were 2 inch in diameter same as the extra large.
While these cake pop molds and pushers are easy to use and durable, I find that their sizing, especially the heart, is a little too large to be used for cake pops. I would worry the sticks wouldn't support them. On the other hand, I've made them without the sticks , making them more like mini cakes or candy and they are delicious. This style of cutter + pusher makes production very efficient compared to rolling cake pops by hand.I'm not sure why the company included a jar scraper-style spatula, but in my opinion your kitchen can never have enough spatulas, so this i was a plus in my book. I've put the spatula through the dishwasher with no ill effects, but you should always handwash the cutters and pushers. This type of 3D printed plastic does not fare well in the heat of the dishwasher. Nothing really sticks to these items anyway, so they are very easy to handwash.
Normally I'd just put leftover cake bits in a bols and mash it up with frosting them make little balls and shove on a stick. Pretty quick and efficient. With this DTLLCZP Cake Pop Mold Maker Cutter Set, the process is a little different. I am assuming how it is intended to be since there are absolutely no instructions or anything in the box. I'm assuming, and the way I had used this, I still mix up the cake bits and frosting, then kindo of roll it out like you would with cookies. Then use the cutter and pusher to make the pops, rest the pop cutouts on the tray, then once your tray is full jab some sticks into the pops. Following that method you can get uniform and perfect designs with your cake pops. I don't really see this DTLLCZP set as practical for everyone, the traditional way of making cake pops is much faster and easier. You could also just roll out your cake pop mixture and use any cookie cutter and get desired cake pop shapes.
I have been wanting one of this for a long time. It was fun to use and easy to make the cake pops. The material is like 3D printed, not very smooth plastic. It needs a extra good clean to get everything out of the edges. I just hope it will last. You will also have to guess the thickness of the cake pop. You can't make it too thin. You can make a lot in a very short time.
While these are quite adequate for their purpose, they really aren't for making cake pops, which are a mixture of left over cake trimming mixed with frosting, and put on a stick, but rather for making petit fours, at which they'd be quite useful. If I am wrong, instructions would be quite helpful. These are nicely made, and should last for quite a while. Other than the nomenclature and the lack of instructions, these are a good value.
